"It’s the most wonderful time of the year, agree sentients whom Q has graced with wonder and terror in equal portions. That does, for some, make it the most terrible time of the year too, but that’s a small price to pay to bask in the glory that is Q. Behold, mortal! The 2022 edition of Q’s Winter Wonderland! This year’s Grand Prize for participating in the Event will be the shrieking screaming inimical Fek’Ihri Byr’Jai! Go forth, dispense joy unto yourselves and terror unto your foes. Surely your species are responsible enough that this will increase net joy and not net terror… surely. "
While this trait is slotted, all of the Anomalies created by your Bridge Officer Anomaly Abilities will periodically allow Lost Souls to pass through ruptured space, allowing these vicious entities to tear into nearby enemy starships. They will randomly target nearby enemies and attack them with their spectral claws, dealing Physical Damage to any starship they choose to attack.
You may have a maximum of 12 Lost Souls active at any point in time, regardless of the number of Anomalies you have active.
Although this looks like it would be a good addition to my carrier toon, thematically I'm not sure I want to use this.
[4:46] [Combat {self}] Your Haymaker deals 23337 (9049) Physical Damage(Critical) to Spawnmother
But this ship has five SCIENCE consoles instead of Elachi's five engineering consoles.
I see this as a fun tac ship with heavy sci influence. I look forward to messing around with some setups on this.
I always reserve judgement until I get to try it myself. I'm not a raider by any means anyway. I prefer carriers/cruisers and sometimes warships/destroyers.
Not so much escorts/raiders.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
What's their definition of 'anomaly' I wonder? Grav well and Tyken's rift, I suppose. But any others? What about non-boff created anomalies like Boronite-laced weaponry rifts? (from a console, not a boff ability) It would be a really serious mistake to have this trait NOT work in synergy with the console that comes with the ship... This trait could make a really cool addition to the atmospherics of Fek’Ihri ships and weapons.
I do wonder if the experimental weapon was at least inspired by what I suggested in the stream (a weapon that would induce nightmares in the crew of the target ship expressed as debuffing and DoTing the target). Granted there was a lot of good ideas in that stream so I can't though I don't think any of those were taken "as is" for the ship.

This is perfect for my flame-based Fek'ihri carrier.

Can we have something else like a GOLDEN ferengui shuttle or ship or anything but F##$$ theme...gets old real soon.
Original STO beta tester.

Lost Souls are fighters, they would not contribute to spam much (which is a relief considering the trends lately).
Overall it is a very interesting ship with an extremely good turn rate (one better than the Faeht in fact), I look forward to getting it.
