I have a Klingon aligned Romulan character that I used an Elite Bridge Officer token on a female Alien Bridge officer. I am unable to apply a Personal Ground Trait to this bridge officer. When I navigate to the traits page for the Boff, it offers only the inherent ground traits available to the captain. When opening new ground trait boxes, I am not asked who to apply them to, the captain or the elite boff. This bug has been confirmed by cryptic support but more people need to experience it to make it a priority.Thanks.

    I have the same issue. Cannot assign traits like "hive mind" even though I have an extra one. No option is given to assign it to the BOF

    Same issue. My Captain is a Starfleet-aligned Romulan. I have 5 upgraded Boffs.

    When I open a new trait box, it either goes straight to my Captain with no prompt, or gives me an error saying I already have it. It doesn't give me the option to choose a Boff to apply it to.

    As a PC player this may not help, but bring up the UI window (if the same for console) with status skills traits stations reputation tabs on it, click on traits click on the elite boff you want to apply a ground trait to and under the inherent traits theres another for personal ground traits. Hope this helps.

    You can only apply those that are available for that particular Boff to use, and there is a limited choice and you can't 'give' them traits from lockboxes etc, however, it lists some traits the boff already inherently has, so will not let you apply those.

    The only bug here is the inherent traits being listed, despite what 'support' have said, they aren't actually able to determine what is or isn't a bug beyond issues with your account.

    Yes, I too am having the same issue as OP on XBOX. I have applied two Elite Boff tokens to my two bridge officers and cannot give them my two copies of Hive Mind. Please see that this is fixed, thank you. I keep getting the same error message.

    Same issue. I bought a trait off the exchange, and the trait immediately applied t my captain. So, I bought *another* copy, and now it won't open at all bc my captain already has it on them, but I wanted it it for Tovan Khev

    It seems like you are pretty confused. You are stating how it is currently working, not how it is actually supposed to work. From the STO website on Elite Bridge officers,


    "These slots allow Bridge Officers to learn Ground Personal Traits, previously only the domain of Captains. The gain access to a default list based on their species. When the Captain acquires a new trait, they will be presented with a choice of which character to teach it to, opening the door for massively increased Bridge Officer customization. Note that a few traits, such as those which modify Captain powers or the Bond With Life trait, cannot be learned by Bridge Officers – these are marked as such in their More Details section. These tokens only apply to one character at a time, so make sure to apply them to the Bridge Officer you want to use them on."

    Same issue, I thought some of the traits might be locked as not applicable (such as those that improve kit readiness) but it seems kind of random which ones work

    Same here. Bought a ton of zen, upgraded loads of officers and I'm unable to use any of the hive mind trait boxes i bought on the exchange.
