I reported this bug to a "Game Master" a few weeks ago and was told to create a bug report here.
Here's the issue: I found the Yamato Class Dreadnought in the Zen Store and decided to buy it because I wanted the console for my "Temporal Heavy Dreadnought Cruiser". aka, the "Enterprise J", which I will refer to as the "THDC". I was lead to believe that the console would work on my "THDC" because of the statement in the Zen Store that it could be equipped on any Starfleet Dreadnought Cruiser, which the "THDC" is. So, I made the purchase and at the "Manage Ships" char on ESD, found out that it wouldn't because the console info says "Galaxy Class variants only", which was not stated in the Zen Store. I would appreciate either a refund of my 3000 Zen I spent on this or make the console work on my "THDC". And also a correction in the Zen Store to reflect the correct ship application of the console so others won't make the same mistake I did.
Thanks.

The Universe Class is a Heavy Dreadnought Cruiser and not just a Dreadnought Cruiser, which is why the console cannot be equipped.
Ok. The problem here is in the reading and understanding, which isn't your fault, because it can be confusing.
First, you proceeded from a false assumption:
Emphasis mine, the "any" in your sentence is not in the C-Store description. The description reads per your screenshot: "The Console Mod can be equipped only on Starfleet Dreadnought Cruisers, in any console slot." This is important, because it means that the Console cannot go on any other type of ship.
Second, the "Enterprise J" or Universe Class, while classified as a Dreadnought, is not a Dreadnought Cruiser. It is specifically a Heavy Dreadnought Cruiser. The Dreadnought Cruiser is specifically the 3-nacelle Galaxy class line to include the Monarch, Venture, and Yamato variants. This may seem like a minor thing, but there is a distinct difference between the two ship types.
Per the Wiki: The main differences Dreadnoughts have over standard ship types such as the Cruiser is the addition of a hangar bay and the ability to use Dual Cannons. All Dreadnoughts have at least one hangar bay, while Dreadnought Carriers and Heavy Dreadnought Cruisers get two. Dreadnought Cruisers typically have a Commander Engineering seat, 8 weapons, a hangar bay, as well as the Attract Fire and Weapon System Efficiency Cruiser Commands. Heavy Dreadnought Cruisers have a Commander Engineering seat, 8 weapons, two hangar bays, and a built in Gravitic Lance.
So, while they both may be considered Dreadnoughts, they are distinctly different from one another, and as such the Console restriction is working as intended and the C-Store description is accurate.

The useage classifications are the EXACT text match/es and are not inclusive of partial matches. Temporal Heavy Dreadnaught Cruiser does not match Dreadnaught Cruiser, even if it has it in the larger class description. A number of people do get caught out on this because they do not get the 'strictly-literal' meaning of these classifications.
The Enterprise J, whether a Heavy or a Light "Dreadnought Cruiser" is just that, a "Dreadnought Cruiser" in service with Starfleet.
Regardless, the description is misleading and in no way accurate at all.
I am requesting a refund. And I am requesting that the info in the description be edited to reflect that it only fits "Any Galaxy Class cruiser Variants" as it states in the console description.
