Hull capacity goes up and down for a week at a time by about 10000
This is likely due to either a Fleet Boost being applied or running out, and/or a Doff project that improves Hull Cap. Unfortunately for Console players, they have not yet implemented a way to view modifiers like you can on PC, all you can see is there are a number of modifiers on a team-mate.
