1. Keyboard input no longer working without having to open virtual keyboard first.
2. The ability to switch between gamertags at the title screen has been removed.
3. The game screen in general seems darker.
4. fps has been reduced and no HDR.
5. D-pad doesn't scroll through menus when held down.
6. Ran into disconnects when leaving a TFO that when you are taken to the title menu pressing "A" on controller does nothing. So, the game locks up and you have to exit and restart. Gives error message "Lost server connection while loading"
Seems like these issues are hitting both Star Trek online and Neverwinter. (Neverwinter got patched last week and all of these popped up)
I noticed the frame rate drop as well. There are also random crashes loading in and out of TFOs with "Lost connection to server" message. I had to quit out the game and relaunch every time when this happens.
question for the folks in here, have any of you had issues with your ability wheels since this patch? seen some people say yes and others say no in a few circles I'm part of.

Definitely a lot of Game Crashes or Server Disconnects when entering or leaving a TFO, the game backs out to screen saying server disconnect issue and to Press A to log back in. Trouble is Pressing A does nothing, doesn't register the button push at all. Only way to continue is to go to home screen quit the game entirely then relaunch the game from scratch. To say this is mildly annoying is putting it politely.
Game is darker and color palette has been altered, the game even asked me to assign a controller to use as well despite using a controller to start the game in the first place.
From the many posts on here, Twitter, and Discord of all the new bugs that's making the game almost unplayable after the patch, I think it's safer to not even log in this week until they put in another quick patch to fix everything that was messed up by this new patch. We have fleet mates who are once again having all their tray abilities missing, graphics issues, crashes during and after TFO's/ Patrols, and even some who are having items completely erased from their inventory.
It would be nice if they'd extend the event time by however long it takes them to get this fixed, since a lot of people just won't even log into the game until they do. I know I'd personally wait for days or even weeks than have to deal with putting all that stuff back on all my toons again... and again... and again.., and again... and yet, still again.

Yes. The ability wheel would randomly get stuck on screen when I try to use it. I had to hold down LT again to make it go away.

confirmed from me as well. all of it.
so basicly: loadout one not working (ship switch is huge pain in the a**), 30fps lock ... and 100% tfo game crashes. thats only the big top 3 issues. add the points from above ... makes me wonder cryptic: can you explain to anybody why they should even start the game anymore? hint: "new upcoming ships" is not the answer here. also wrong anwser "some talaxians now move correctly in a mission somewhere"
i think those things are all intentional. but i'm unable to understand why they take away those quality of life features. its not that sto has a lot of them. but even the view we had are now even viewer.
for fps lock i guess they just forgot to add the "fps limiter" option from neverwinter. which makes it not better. it would be just typical for them.
Everything here. It’s like playing on an old 360 now on my Series X and visually it’s uncomfortable to even look at.

Yes, I've had the abilities wheel randomly get stuck open. It's only happened a couple of times and I have tried to recreate it but I can't consistently get it to happen.
First bug: This is my first time reporting a bug, so I hope my info is helpful? I was playing on Xbox Series X on the Terran Badlands BZ map Wednesday afternoon PST when the bug occurred after the October 4th patch.
My hot bar menu had white squares. My ship froze and I couldn't click anything, because most of the Xbox controller buttons and in-game menus froze.
Then slowly, only my sidebar menu started working, so I was able to click abort mission. Aborting the mission unfroze my ship, but the graphical squares on the hot bar menu were still there. I re-entered the Terran Badlands BZ and the same problem happened again and I had to wait to unfreeze and abort mission like before. I couldn't get into DS9 either no matter what I tried.
Second bug: I've never had this happen until the October 4th patch, but I can't equip the Hull Image Refractors console despite the saved load out. Also, I couldn't equip the Prolonged Engagement Phaser, which wasn't part of my saved load out.
I tried multiple ways to clear and equip these items on the ship. I made sure the items were in my inventory. I even cleared out the load out for HIR. I was only able to equip other items.

Also experiencing all the issues noted here on Xbox Series X. HDR is out, crashes after TFOs requiring force quit, random stuck ability wheel......etc. But I guess uniforms are now working?? (didn't notice they were not before....).
Achievements are not popping for me currently, graphics seem to be a bit of a mess and there seem to be between 50 and 100 NPCs stuck walking backwards and forwards in a group in the main building at starfleet academy fading in and out of resolution...
