Error on customizing a -NEW- Bridge Officer

Uncertain why this is happening, but for the past week or so, when any of my characters has a new bridge officer "Join" and if I click on the "Change Uniform" option on the pop up window for them, it brings up the character customization tailor screen for one of the Bridge officers I already customized.

For example, last night, I tried to customize a human male tactical officer, and it brought up the andorian female one I first got on that character. The day before that on my KDF toon, I tried to customize a new Gorn Officer, and it brought up a male klingon bridge officer I customized probably a month ago.

Again, it is -NOT- something that happens when I go to the tailor, it is when I try to customize a NEW bridge officer, when selecting "Change Uniform" on their pop up window after they join your crew. It has happened on several different bridge officers, on several different characters.

    When I have added a new Bridge Officer, no matter which way I go through, Tailor or Change My Uniform. I go through the entire process and then when I click on purchase it resets the character to how it was originally. I have spoken to Support and they very kindly suggested that I have to add the new officer to my Away Team. Then I have to log out of that character and then log back in to then start customising. It seems like a long way to go.
