Can't switch ships, crash to desktop

Suddenly, a week ago I was trying to switch to another ship and then got a crash to desktop. Tried again and another crash.
Then I tried a different ship, a different set of skills, equipment and nothing... Another crash time and again.
It only happens with one character though. But it's becoming bothersome.
This is game-breaking and something has to be done ASAP. Specially if more people are affected. I mean, what's the point in using a ship if you cant use it?
