Red Shift mirror player bug

I was trying Red Shift again after today's livestream, to check out the dialogue options for different factions.
Went in as a Discovery captain, and it seems the tech used to replace the player with the mirror version isn't working. I've attached screenshots below, but for a DSC-era human female, it looks like maybe a default Inquisitor is meshed in with my captain, I think using the male frame?
This happened immediately, so I'm on the first spot on Mirror Voyager. I tried beaming out and going back into the mission (this is a checkpoint), and same thing.

I left the map, dropped the mission, and went back to ESD. My captain is back to normal, so nothing lasting seems to have changed.
Not sure if it matters, but maybe so I'll mention that this was this character's first playthrough of the mission. I've played it on other characters. On that, it's fine on that character - regular Fed Liberated Borg. No issue with the swap to Inquisitor at all. Changing costumes on her also has no bad effect.
