476727: Upgrade not available on voth omni beam array

The Voth weaponry have no upgrade on right click for an option, nor can it be upgraded by just dropping it into the upgrade box.

Item Found on : Voth Bastille Temporal Science Vessel (T6)
"Omni-Directional Voth Antiproton beam array" (Very rare with infinity icon)
Other voth weaponry on the same ship also claims it can be upgraded in their description, but cannot.

I would check the other Tier 6 Voth ships for this issue as well if I had them.
Perhaps someone could comment on this if they do?

    There is no issue it is un upgradeable.

    Some weapons within STO are not upgradable

    You need to get the Voth lockbox weapons in order to upgrade them.
    The weapons that come with the ship are not upgradeable to force you to gamble more.

    Oh don't get me wrong on the white quality weapons here. Fully expected to not be able to upgrade those. The very rare omni though, saying that it can upgrade but it cannot, that's the real bug I wanted to point out.

    Sadly, the polaron quad cannons can be added to the roster of special weapons that can't be upgraded. I get the standard issue common items that can't be upgraded, but except for the fused weapons on the Tempest and Dyson Destroyers, any weapon or singularity/warp core that has come with a ship can be upgraded and/or re-engineered in some form or fashion. Perhaps just an oversight on the programmers' part? Hopefully a fix for the purple Voth omni-directional beam array and polaron quads soon to come?

    Dayamarsana - I got the Voth Rampart Command Flight Deck Carrier from the Mudd's In Command bundle and much like the Bastille version, the VR omni-directional beam array isn't upgradable either. Same issue you're having.

    Polaron quad cannons being unable to be upgraded is being investigated internally.
