Polaron Quad Cannon not upgradeable

The new Polaron Quad Cannon can not not be upgraded.

    Hmm that's not good, clearly that needs to be fixed. I was even trying to do a 2nd Klingon Jem Recruit, to match my Federation one. I know they don't give Account-wide rewards again, but they do the Individual Rewards for that toon; I just can't finish the Mission after choosing Klingon Faction. I thought only because my FED can't use the Level-Up bonus, and has all Specializations maybe create a new toon.

    Yet he is also stuck as he finishes the mission, having the REPLAY of Weyoun giving the Gift of the Founders (White) to them; then the Space Missions starts over again, like before I went thru the Wormhole and Blew up the Tzenkethi Captain Ship after the Admiral was saved.

    Hopefully they can FIX both these issues, the Polaron Quad Cannon's is likely a reason why many want the Legendary Jem Ship.

    i noticed. i also cant buy attack ship pets even though i have a t6 jem carrier, t6 heavy escort and the new legendary ship.

    Having the same issue. Hope they are aware and are fixing it.

    Did you check the Dilithium Store under Hangar Pets? I found them there.

    It's often the case that both types of ship must be in your Active Roster, and not just unlocked in the Z-Store.

    Same problem with the quads... haven't tested the unlock.

    Edit: Tested unlock, not working, i have every jem carrier on that char, in the roster, no unlock of pets (besides the gunboat pet, of course)

    Oh that's not good. Pay $45 for stuff you can't upgrade? How did they miss that in testing?

    Same for me as well just as the first poster identified, so I kind of figured we'll need a patch or fix.

    This is a very odd oversight. Someone must've forgotten to flip a switch. Any word back on that tweet?

    I am seeing the same issue, cannot upgrade the Polaron Quad Cannons. Hopefully they are aware of this issue, didn't see it in the "known issues" section of the most recent patch notes.

    Right - I meant the quad cannon. I first claimed the ship and the upgrade pack on the same toon though, so either way it should be on that toon. (I may have overlooked it - I was frustrated about something non-STO related earlier today.)

    It should be already slotted once you claim the ship.

    Yes, it is... also, purple infinity, and no pets unlock, it's a bug obviously, but an annoying one.

    This is the first time I'm hearing about "Polaron Quad Cannons." How exactly does one acquires this weapon?

    It comes with the new Legendary Jem'Hadar Attack ship.

    Any chance of the very rare Voth Omni-Directional Antiproton Beam Array from the Voth Bastille and Rampart vessels being made upgradable as well as the polaron quad cannons?
