A Memorial Plaque Request

On the r/STO sub-Reddit, a number of people have requested that Lucille Ball (the owner of Desilu when TOS started) be added to the STO memorial plaques, for without her, Star Trek as we know it would not exist...if at all.

In the name of all who are on the memorial plaques now, please add Lucille Ball to the plaques as soon as is humanly possible.

    I think how she got over looked is the 80 Episodes she was the Excutive Producer for she was uncredited. But I agree she needs to be added.

    If not for her, the franchise might never have left Spacedock.

    It definitely would never have made it to TV without her. What got NBC to finally take a serious look at it was the fact that she decided to greenlight it for syndication production when none of the networks would pick it up. NBC knew her reputation for picking winners and realized there was probably something they missed if she was willing to gamble that much money on the show, so they finally agreed to take a second look at it, and you know the rest.
