STO now disables the taskbar when Alt-Tabbing

Up until today's update, when I would alt-tab out of the game to another program or my music (something I do all the time), I could easily do what I needed because I could access the taskbar. As of this morning's update, this is no longer the case, and the game now ALWAYS covers the taskbar. I play in Windows Maximized mode because Windowed is horrid and fullscreen causes performance issues. I don't like to have to use third-party software just to get basic functionality. This just adds to the pile of bugs introduced in this update. Please try and hotfix this ASAP, and pl;ease of please, stop releasing new content until the bugs are fixed. Pretty please?

    Gonna bump this since the problem still persists and the devs have not looked at it.

    I play with Windows Maximized mode too and am seeing nothing different in my gameplay. The game has always covered the taskbar.

    Not sure if I was a bit vague. In-game, it always covered the task bar, but I could alt-tab out of the game and get the taskbar back in order to check other programs for music or messaging or what have you. Now, even if the game is inactive, you can still see it over the task bar, something that only happened starting with the most recent update. Sometimes I can be bad at details, sorry about that.

    I see what you're getting at now, but don't recall anything happening differently for me. I'll make a point of alt-tabbing around a bit when I'm home later and see what happens to the taskbar.
    By any chance, have you changed any settings in your own computer or had an update to a program that also does stuff to the taskbar?

    Nope, nothing changed at all except STO updating. That's how I know it's a bug in STO.
