Will Ferasan be c9nsidered KDF Recruits?

If this has been addressed, please point me to the location. I would be interested in creating a new fuzzy friend for the upcoming event. Will new Ferasan characters created Feb9-Mar9 be usable for the event? if so, 'take my money' memes apply...

    To put it simply: Yes.
    All characters created on KDF faction during this event will become Klingon Recruits.

    Any KDF character created during the time of the Klingon Recruit event is eligable. Doesn't matter what species they are as long as they are KDF.

    One of my kdf recruits is a kitty, another is a joined trill and a third is a borg klink. I made 3 last time.
