We need a lot more information about what you have and what you might like. Also, is this event campaign III (promo pack) or some other T6 ship coupon?

That depends on your playstyle and if you like the look of the ship.

This is just my 2c list of what I think some of the better or more fun or useful T-6 ships are for a f2p player. Opinions will vary. These are generally both useful ships and ones I find fun to fly. Also note these are mainly Fed ships as I’ll be damned if I can remember the Klingon names.
Gagarin - One of the best all around ships in game. It has a top tier trait for DEW and Torp (more FAW than BO). It’s an extremely well rounded Miracle Worker ship so 12 consoles out of the box. Highly survivable. One of the better DEW ships in game, and one that scales well from beginner to expert.
Arbiter - similar to Gagarin, another top tier DEW platform. The best DEW trait in game. Intel seating gives it some interesting options. Also a fantastic oh TRIBBLE console.
Somerville - a great beginners Sci ship. Fantastic Trait.
Appalachia - the new T6 Steamrunner. A great beginning point for a Torpedo build. Fantastic trait and console. Command and Intel seats.
Grissom - a wonderfully fun well rounded Science ship with temporal seating, With a trait that is fantastic for anomaly spam space wizards. It’s a surprisingly fun ship to fly.
The Da Vinci has a pretty nice console for survivability and it has the whole Miracle Worker package, which is rare for an escort (I think only the Maquis Raider has them and it's a lobi ship).
I know there's a few ships I probably should get from a mechanics standpoint but I'm really looking at either the new Nova or new Steamrunner, favoring the Nova fairly heavily. Gonna give it some time before I pull the trigger though, the Somerville's trait would be quite good on my Sci toon and she's already fairly happily seated in her Luna, but if I did get the new Nova she'd probably switch to that...
Assuming this comes to console eventually along with the anniversary event, I will be getting the T6 Dhelan because it is one of the few Republic ships I dont have.

Play mostly Tac toons, and looking for useful traits/consoles. Also, not concerned about ship looks, just want the utility.
Tac toons, and today's free T6 token giveaway.
It's nice because you can get a Cannon Scatter Volley 1 (Lieutenant) for the cost of a Torpedo Spread 1 (ensign)
Or if you use beams you get free torp spreads with your BFAW and Overload. -- edit: not BO, just CSV and BFAW
That's definitely one I do not have, thank you.

The Free T6 and the Elite Captain Token were both really cool.
Personally, I went with the Cardassian Ghemor Intel Flight Deck Carrier. It's a good ship, comes with Spiral Wave Disruptors, and the trait is really nice.
Thanks Cryptic!
