I would endorse this. One of my fave ship designs (like an advanced Miranda which I also like and which got its legendary), but lacking in oomph in STO imho...

I would guess that a Nebula is probably next in the Legendary pipeline. It’s really the last of the commonly seen on screen Federation ships. And a type Captained by 2 or 3 of the TNG mains in various episodes. The last likely Legendary candidates past the Nebula would be the Constellation/Stargazer the Jem’Hadar bug ship and the Cardasian Galor. Maybe the Ferengi Marauder? Granted I for one hold out hope for a Legendary Mondor.

    Legendary Mogai/Valdore would be nice.

honestly, Legendary is been done to death. it no longer means anything, just like every third job on the planet is now a "hero"

It has meaning...it means they charge more for it and put it in a expensive pack with stuff you don't want so either buy it all or don't get it

The Nebula-class is my favorite class of starship.

The only ship I'd be interested in as a Legendary would be the Prometheus/Advanced Escort.

However, despite how much I like the ship, it's a real stretch to call it Legendary.

That would be cool. I love the multi-vector assault mode

i would love a legendary Multi- mission Miracle Worker ship they are already the best ship for a drain build having another universal console slot since to make the most of the omni you need all the parts. would be nice to have space for something else

Well, the Akira would be a good candidate too.

They were in Voyager, DS9, First Contact and the design heavily inspired the NX-01 from what I've heard.

A Nebula-Akira legendary bundle would be interesting. Both ships are regularly seen and although they weren't hero ships, they seemed to be an important part of the fleet as such.

Gameplay wise the combinations would be interesting too, as combining shield drains (the Nebula's specialty) with torpedo's (the Akira's) allows for some fun builds.

    Akira first though =P
C-Store Inc. is still looking for active members on the fed side. If you don't have a fleet feel free to contact me in game @stegi.

Well if they do the next legendary pack like they did the last one, Akira Nebula for the Fed ships and then 2 more klingon or maybe Romulan/Cardassian/Dominion would leave a lot of great options out there. Maybe Legendary Galor and Bug ?

I mean, there is a Legendary Multi-Mission Miracle Worker Science ship... but, you mean the Vesta, and yeah, I'd love to see a legendary version of that. Though, I kinda suspect it wouldn't be MW, given the Warship Voyager exists. Maybe full on TO with a Lt MW slot, or maybe an Intel configuration. (Though, I'd be less interested in another intel Science ship.)

At this point, that and the Luna/Titan are the two hero ships (from the novels) that we haven't gotten legendary versions of. I'd love to see a legendary Inquiry, though. I guess, they could switch over and do a legendary pack of the Inquiry and Parliament. Given the recent series that aren't represented in the 10AP at all.

I have a question. What qualifies as a legendary ship? is it just ships seen on screen?

IIRC, Cryptic has said in the past that a legendary ship is something that "carried an episode, series, or movie, or was predominately featured in an episode, series, or movie" and in-game has multiple variations to package together into a bundle. So like the main Enterprises, the DSC, the Shenzhou since it was the hero ship for the first two episodes of DSC. etc.

More background ships like the Akira, Steamrunner, Nebula, Promethus, get a "Ship of the Line" bundle instead. Which do the same thing, but at a lesser price.

Some of them don't even get that, like the Yeager class ships that were in the background of most of DS9's later episodes, which does not even have a regular ship ingame at all much less a Legendary or Line one.

According to the wiki the Yaeger was in less then 1/3 of the episodes from S5 to S7. And yeah, Cryptic has generally been against those super kitbashy ships like the Yaeger, Challanger, Niagra, since they look awful, and most people don't care about them.

The kitbashes are not any worse than the other Starfleet ships for the most part, in fact some of them, like the Centaur, are rather popular from what I have seen. And they are a lot better looking than the silly looking junk ships that CBS has been putting out lately.

Ship of the line-bundles don't do the same thing.

Legendary ships usually get a different specialisation, a different console configuration, new tailor parts, sometimes new traits and/or (like with the Odyssey) even stuff like a hangar bay.
You also get only one ship that has access to all consoles and traits when you buy a legendary ship.

With Ships of the line-bundles, like the Akira bundle, you also get all consoles. But they don't come on a single ship, there are usually no new parts and there's only one trait involved as there's usually just one, unchanged T6 ship in the package.

A ship of the line bundle just combines already existing ships (which did get access to some new materials though). Legendary ships are wholly different ships.

Ugh, thank you for giving me new nightmare fuel. Been wanting a T6 Cheyenne/Dakota/etc forever, and this is a way for it to exist but me never getting it. Because of those stupid legendary bundle prices. :/

I wouldn't worry about that TBH. Every ship thats been made Legendary has already had a T6 version available elsewhere, either as a normal zen store ship, or a lockbox ship. I don't recall there ever being a Legendary ship where the Legendary version was the first, or only, T6 version available.

I was talking about the bundling of all existing skins/consoles into one package.

They are significantly worse, and have been widely mocked, even more-so then the "junk", as you call it, CBS has been putting out recently, for years.

I've never seen anyone say anything positive about the Yaeger, with most requests for it being mostly for the memes/completionism like requests for the Oberth were. Rather then people actually liking it, or thinking its a good design. Don't confuse the two.

There have been a few who have expressed wanting a Yaeger in the forums though definitely a minority. In fact, just recently I was not the only one who suggested they put the "Pathyeager" (shown in the Dev Tracker thread) in the game as an event ship since the model is already made (it probably would not be a big enough seller for the cstore with the strange idea that the Yeager's secondary hull is the little maquis raider instead of the bigger freighter that used the same shooting model).

While it does look good if you can get around the raider idea and see it for itself instead of thinking of it as just a scale mismatch, I mainly like it because it makes so much sense in light of the civilian freighter-hulled warships that were put out in WWII, especially since the Yeager class was seen doing a typical auxiliary warship role in guarding DS9 (and probably escorting freighters in other areas of the theater).

And since the Intrepid class's secondary hull with the extremely advanced engines were probably a bottleneck to production, producing those auxiliary warships in the desperate race to build up fleet strength gives the Dominion war a lot more depth and helps drive home the idea of how close the allies came to losing that war.

Anyway, I won't say any more on it here since I didn't intend to divert from the main subject to the Yeager class in the first place, I just mentioned it as an example in my previous comment.
