BOOKER'S SHIP

I AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE THE BOOKER'S SHIPBUT HAVENT SEEN IT ANYWHERE IN THE STORE OR DILITHIUM STORE.I AM WILLING TO PAY CASH TO ZEN IF ITS NOT TO MUCH ,IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE MUCHAPPRECIATED

    You left your CAPS LOCK on. That ship is a promotional ship and is only available in a reward pack from the “Infinity Lockbox.” You may be able to find it on the exchange or in a trading channel. The price will be something like 1.5 billion to 2 billion energy credits.

    You are looking for: “Special Requisition Pack - Kwejian Pilot Frigate [T6].”

    The good news is.. the ship is cheap enough to be on the Exchange.

    The bad news.. at 1.2 Billion EC with Keys hovering at around 10M per key, if you bought the ship by selling keys, it would cost you approximately $135 US for a single character unlock.

    You should take that money and use it to buy a keyboard with a working Caps Lock.

    to all sorry anout the caps didnt realize till after i posted it ,i would like it by itself not looking to have anything else with it ,no exreme cash ,zen ,dilithium please keep that in mind

    No worries man, but unfortunately.. this is the current reality of Star Trek Online.

    If I knew a way for you to get the ship at a reasonable price, I would absolutely tell you. Sadly though, there is no way you're going to acquire the ship cheaply outside of opening boxes and having some amazing luck. Promo ships are, by design, mostly available to people that spend considerable amounts of money, that's how Cryptic has opted to monetize the game, and sadly there is no way around it outside of just having some really good luck opening boxes.

    There are two things I can suggest. Infinity Lock Boxes, because I've got a couple of T6 Ship choices from them, but there's not one I want. OR, if you can find someone you're able to trust in the game who has an unopened Booker...do an exchange, have it in your bank, character transfer to Tribble and give it back. You'll be able to try the ship out and see if it's worth it to you. Like I say, it has to be someone you trust, otherwise they might just do a runner, but I've learnt from experience to test a ship before I open it...I actually tried Book's ship and I didn't rate it personally.

    lockbox ships should really be account unlocks, or price caps, drop ratios rearrangement and other measures should be undertaken to combat hyperinflation and remove the scarcity around ship prices, recommended prices haven't been true for a long time. It really becomes a wall for new players

    I still wish it was possible to rebox the ships, even if they stayed account locked. I've got so many that I would LOVE some of my other toons to have and instead, just stay in my dry dock.

    I get the feeling you are asking someone to sell you the ship for below its current value. If so, that's not what the forums are for. Go in the game, make an offer or two AT A REALISTIC PRICE in zone chat, see what happens.

    But please don't post over and over and over and over again, and/or ask for some low price that isn't based on market conditions. No one is selling you this ship for 200 million ECs, as an example.

    You're not seeing it on the exchange because it is not a ship that a lot are looking for. It's an Infinity Box ship, but there are other Infinity Box ships that will command a much better price on the Exchange or in a private sale. The Atlas, The Styx etc. So you will need to find someone with an unopened box willing to sell at or for the price you are offering. It's not a ship anyone is likely to just list on their own.

    100%, having the hardest to get/most expensive ships in the game, be stuck on one character only just isn't fun. Even through some miracle or ridiculous amounts of work/real world money if you manage to get the ship you want it's still pyrrhic as now you've choose toons and regret the others missing it.

    Some type of system to allow you to unlock premium items for your account would definitely be nice. I like the way they handle it in Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you purchase any Cash Store item, rather it's from the store or off the player exchange (GTN) as soon as you equip that item it unlocks in collections for that character. So you buy a really cool cosmetic armor for example, that character can re-claim it as many times as they want. If you accidentally delete it, or you want a 2nd copy for your follower whatever. But not only that.. you can pay a set amount of Cartel Coins (their equivalent of Zen) and unlock the item for your entire account. The cost is based on the rarity 'tier' of the item, so more desirable items cost more to unlock but it seems a successful system. For every one person that says they will just use Credits to buy premium items, there are 2 or 3 people that are buying these items just to sell them. It doesn't seem to cut into the bottom line, if anything it seems to fuel cash store purchases and players are happy to make these purchases knowing they can then unlock them account wide for just a 'little bit more.' It's a method that seems to benefit everyone.

    It's curious we don't have this, I don't think the moderators oppose it, I believe it's a Cryptic rule that we can't trade on the forums. It's a strange rule, and I am not sure why it exists.     At the time of posting this thread, there are 3 available on the exchange with the cheapest going for 1.2B Credits. It's definitely not worth that, sometimes people will try and make money just off a ships rarity within the actual infinity promo. This is why they REALLY need to just make the choice box sellable. Establish a baseline price for infinity ships and let the buyer choose their ship when they open the box.

    Question : there are lockboxs but i have no idea which one the ship i want is in which is BOOKERS SHIP now i see there is a new lockbox which one would it be in ? :/

    Also, it doesn't have the bridge from the series, like most ships.

    The Infinity Lock Box. The Emerald Chain box will NOT work.

    Also check the price in EC in the Exchange under Reward Packs. If you just want the ship and nothing else, with a 100% guaranteed chance of success and no gambling, you can buy lock box keys and sell them on the exchange for credits then use those credits to buy the ship.

    That ship comes from the Infinity Lockbox. That’s the default lockbox that drops in between the theme Dropbox events. You probably have a few of them in your inventory. They contain items from all of the old event boxes. The new event boxes that started dropping today are the Emerald Chain Lockbox’s. They will not have the ship you want.

    managed to get the ship i was looking for took a little time but i got it hopefully it can be seen if not ill try to do it again later
