Arrow keys not working on dialogue window

I used to be able to select an option with the arrow keys when a dialog window showed me an option, but suddenly I couldn't.
It happened during a Halloween event and has been going on.
And It happens to all characters.

    You are not alone. the arrow keys still work for subsequent screens in the same dialogue instance, but require you to mouse click an option on the first screen of the sequence. Which is awkward for those of us who try to minimize or eliminate mouse use.

    Hm. I wonder if a touchscreen monitor would work with STO?

    Same here. Conversation windows now behave pretty much like under windows operating system. You have to have it in focus to use arrow keys and interaction key most of the time.
