    Glad I'm not the only one Apparently today's patch has caused this bug.

    ive just discovered the same issue. hope it is fixed soon.

    Same here, couldn't apply skill points, so i thought, "well, maybe a respec will fix it", but nope, can't even re-apply to the way i already had it before, WTF?

    Having the issue as well. Just for reference, tried changing maps, switching characters, exiting and restating game and verifying files...no change.

    Emailed support about it, and they replied pretty quick that they were aware and they are looking into it, and will try and get it back up as quick as possible though they couldn't provide an ETA as of yet.

    Yeah I have the same issue, cant buy new skills with my new fed toon, I have restarted the client and even respeced what I had to see if that would work but sadly not

    I'm out the cost of a retrain token, too. This is actually costing me real money, now. I looked it up and this is actually a 5 YEAR OLD BUG! So mostly they just seem to wait for things to go away via herd immunity, I guess. I have a buddy that works for a game QA company. Maybe they should give them a call before the patch. I'm glad I finished the event for the Gagarin ship, because it looks like it's time to give STO a break and play something else til this gets fixed.

    Same issue a new Kardashian LCDR have 2 space points unable to apple to my Tactical officer Captain. tried all skill trees for her and wasent able to apply the points. Cryptic please advise.

    New player here. Same boat. I I can't even really play without either making a new character, which I can't do, or placing skill points, which I can't do either.

    Just wanted to post a quick update: The issue seems to be resolved (at least for me), Logged in and was able to spend my points as normal, across several characters.

    We are most please to discover the Moose trainers have been sacked and the llamas are IN charge of the collective. The skill points will now go to recovering the pa wraths grail ;3
