Would a Mission Pod replacing her center nacelle be an upgrade for a Federation Dreadnought Cruiser one day? I imagine that Mission Pod would be an additional part, not a replacement part, for that starship too. What do you think?

Extremely unlikely. Besides, Cryptic don't do fan designs. The Legendary Gal-X is the definitive version and doesn't need any further change.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

It's not impossible, but also not realistically likely.

For one, as mentioned, Cryptic avoids directly copying fan content as much as possible, especially after the brouhaha involving the "Design the Next Enterprise" drama. They might be inspired by some on some level, but it would be in the gray zone where the fan-artist cannot claim "copying", and where Cryptic can claim Original Content based on licensing.

For another, Cryptic has been working more closely with CBS as of late, and mostly focuses on canon starship designs, although they can and have done Cryptic Originals for existing designs (the game-only "2410" variants of various canon ships, such as the Andromeda, Regent, or Pathfinder skins).

It's not impossible for Cryptic to replicate the idea for a future Gal-X variant; say a Temporal Spec Fed Dread Gal-X, but using their 2410 designs. But again, it's also not likely to happen for awhile, if ever, given their increased collaboration with CBS on implementing canon ship designs in-game (and the skeleton crew STO is operating with).

Mission pod placement where the nacelle is would be kinda awkward I imagine (image that is linked is blank)
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

The downside of that move to recent CBS designs is that Kurtzman's bunch have not come out with a single design in DSC season 3 that does not look like a reject from a different show (mostly Star Wars), and the ones from PIC are uninspired and very impractical looking (at best). So far the only halfway decent looking new ships have come from the animated shows.

That's cause McMann's an actual FAN. Kurtzman, and JJ, are not.

1 outta 3 is okaaaaaaaaaay.....I guess. *blinks anime style*

I would imagine the mission pod sensors would have a hard time seeing much that close to the subspace stream between those nacelles.
