BUG: Promotion codes still unavailable and broken for Epic launcher

I've been playing the game through the Epic launcher for a while and have missed out on a number of 3rd party promotions because there is a bug in how these accounts are connected. The promo codes are not able to be accepted due to a software bug. I've opened a few tickets with ARC already and nothing really has been done and the tickets are closed and marked "resolved" without being corrected.
The issue looks like the suffix number on the account IDs. The ID suffix in the game is different than my ARC account. They tried linking them and that resulted in the loss of EVERYTHING, characters, Zen, and all game progress. Fortunately the accounts were unlinked and everything came back.
I am willing to work with ARC to help resolve this but they keep closing my ticked without doing anything. I don't want to install the ARC client on my PC and start the game from scratch.
