after the first engagement in a TFO is locked into combat with only the popup dialog to leave "combat" this means things like full impulse are locked away and not able to move quickly around the map, to get into combat, or achieve objectives.
Got this on my new recruit be in TFO start off fine then when everything is dead I stay in combat. This also happens on my 1rst klink I made years ago. I didnt bother reporting it due dont play on that toon that much so this bug been around for awhile. Back when you could do the So and So event on all of your toons unlike it is now just only one.
I was thinking that perhaps I should be more precise. I have this issue with my new KDF officer. I switched to an older officer and he can fly just fine.
I have had the same issue. I believe it may be related to the new Hunter's Instinct trait. It seems like removing that trait helped. I'd definitely like to have that trait back, though. Can anyone else confirm if removing Hunter's Instinct ship trait helps them?
Removing Hunters Instinct will resolve the issue when playing teamed content (TFOs, Story content, battlezones). I have not experienced this bug when playing solo story content/battlezones when not in a team.
The bug also only initiates after the first person in a team goes into Red Alert regardless where you are in relation to enemies. Try to get to the enemies first to avoid being stuck and impulse...
Basically if you want to use the trait don’t do anything teamed up.
So, I turned off the Hunter's Instinct trait, did 2 TFOs and no issues using full impulse. I sure hope this wasn't an intended side effect of that trait and that it gets fixed.
