Stuck in Klingon Recruit Tutorial

I created a Klingon Recruit. I started the tutorial and when I reached the Hallway on the bird of prey and defeated the Star Fleet Boarders, I was unable to progress in the game. It says I collected the loot from the boarders but the door at the end of the hall refuses to open. I would delete the character and start again but I have 40 keys, a X6 Experimental Ship Upgrade and 2 - Ultimate Tech Upgrades on the character I can not transfer while in the tutorial. Any help would be great.

    In the tutorial, the starfleet npc you kill drop the key to open the next step of your tutorial. Which you use on the console next to the door. then you get to see what is next.
