Red Alert persistent during TFOs

On my KDF Recruit-During any TFO, after first time entering a red alert condition, it persists, even through defeat. I have not seen this issue on regular missions/patrols.

    I've noticed this too. It seems like my KDF recruit is considered to be in combat so long as any team member is in combat.

    It's easy to see in Azure Nebula Rescue where the team can be spread out. It's also very annoying in Azure Nebula Rescue since that's a TFO where full impulse is essential.

    I just reported this and it appears to be not only happening to me. This is what I reported:
    Hi, on this new Klingon Recruit toon, i can not go out of red alert staus and therefore cannot use full impulse at all, even after respawning after death, its automatically on red alert. Is this a bug? Never happened on my other toons.

    Have not tested after the patch, I will check and report back.

    EDIT: After the patch, it seems to be working. Anyone affected before, can you also check if they were able to fix it? I have tested on 3 TFO's and I am able to use full impulse.

    LATEST: I just did the universal Days of Doom and my Full Impulse is gone again. Red Alert status keeps me from using it even when I am not being hit or no enemies around me.

    Same issue for me, 5 minutes ago during TFO "Days of Doom".
    Except I was playing with a "standard" toon (not a Klingon recruit) with the T6 Bird of Prey.
    So maybe the issue isn't related to the toon used, but the ship.

    I just finished the romulan minefield tfo using a Kurak Battlecruiser, it still keeps me at Red Alert and cannot use my Full Impulse.

    I know 3 more people who have the same issue. Also at times you can't get out of the cloak.

    same issue also if team engages combat and you are not. tested days of doom I was protecting starbase and others where doing warp core runs. only clears with the giant dialog popup. tested on multiple tfos

    This has been happening to me since last night and I just reported it as well. As that is when I went from 60-65 that might be a part of it, as it was not an issue before then. I have also tried swapping ships, to no avail. I guess I will focus on missions as I have plenty of those to work on in the meantime.

    Affecting me as well. Just completed a 'Best Served Cold' run with my KDF recruit in the T6 BoP. I have heard it may be related to the cloaking trait given as a recruit reward.

    I've also been encountering this bug since the recent patch. If you are defeated in a TFO, you are in a constant state of red alert which prevents your full impulse. My initial testing suggests it may be happening if the "Hunters Instinct" trait is active on your character.

    Hi there and thank you for this pointer.
    The root cause for me is, indeed, the trait "Hunter's Instinct".
    When it is active I have the aforementioned bug. When it's inactive I no longer have issues.

    Same bug here. Stuck in combat. Can't move fast enough to help my team. Cloaking out does nothing to get rid of the red alert status.
