Unable to continue Knowledge is Power due to no melee weapon

I am a level 65 Fed who is trying to do this. I can't switch to melee so I am unable to continue the mission since you need to defeat Kahless using a melee weapon as J'ula. Z key does not work, and there is no UI icon on the abilities tray to swap between the two like there should be. Logging in and out does not work, and I even waited to post this until AFTER today's maintenance in the hopes today would fix it, but it did not. So Yeah, can't swap to melee for some reason.

Other things I tried :

First I tried logging out and in again.
Then just dropping the mission and trying again after resetting it.
Then bringing no weapons with me on my character before starting.
Then only bringing only a Bat'leth with me.

I also can't holster the pistols. They key doesn't work just like weapon swapping.

Anyone know?

    For me there was an swooping arrow as a melee attack. I just spammed the 3 key.

    Every weapon has a melee attack, as draugada says, spam the 3 key. You can also unequip your main weapon and go fisticuffs on them using your normal attack, key 1 for left punch and 2 for throwing a right and 3 for uppercut.

    As you can see, my 3 key is set to tell allies to attack a target, I have no melee attack on 3. Again, I have no melee abilities what so ever and can not switch to a melee weapon at all.

    TRIBBLE i can't eddit but now I seem stuck with ONLY Melee and no ranged when I lgged in and didn't even notice. Now she has no pistols at all. SO at this point I have no idea what's going on.

    Ok I just went to fight and the moment combat started she switched to the pistols and again I don't have any melee and cant not switch to it, so yeah, still can't complete the mission.

    OOOOOOOOK THEN. SOOO, I MOVED the tell targets to attack ability on my hotbar and THEN the melee ability appeared. Since this was the default layout of the bar for J'ula when I started the mission I thought this was the way it was suppose to be so didn't even think to move abilities around on the bar. Anyway it's fixed I guess, anyone else having this issue just move the abilities around on the bar and new ones will appear in their place ( I also had a pistol ability on 4 I didn't know was there ). Again I had no idea they were suppose to be there in the first place. Thanks for the help guys.
