When I take this mission from Q I get a list with all the locations where to get an omega particle and not just three as it is mentioned in the news item here or as it was in former years. Is this working as intended?
Of course, it's harder to find all three colors of traces, since you aren't being pointed to one spot for each. (At least for new players. If you remember where they are from previous years.... /shrug)
Since you need to do it twice to get full daily credit for the event, I find its easy to have the first character do red 2x, via ESD ground and space, then get 1 blue and have another character do 2x yellow and 1 blue, to generally get an even progression on particles.
Sol for reds, Vulcan, Andoria and Wolf 359 for Blue, Sierra 39, K-7 and Drozana for Yellow. You can also go to DS9 and the mining asteroid, Bajor and Defera for reds
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

Anyone got the list for KDF players on best places for the colored gubbins?
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Qo'noS, Ganalda, Drozana, is what I've been doing, since you transwarp to Qo'noS to get the quest.
(and do you have to transwarp this year? Or is there some hidden spot you can just grab it via communicator? I'd swear I could do that in previous years...)

Because this provides more freedom for where to go, it is actually easier than previous years even though it looks like so much more work.

That page has all the info on where to find the traces.
