New Bridge Officers on Away Team have BLANK abilities.

First noticed after XB1 update on January 19th 2021. Upon acquiring a NEW bridge officer whether through the exchange, duty officer recruitment mission, or other means and after placing them on your AWAY TEAM the ability tray is BLANK. Contacted support and filed a ticket. It was suggested that an "Invalid Skill" error message might be the problem so I followed specific instructions to re-spec my skills and try again. NEW bridge officers still will not show any available skills on the AWAY TEAM. After confirming this with the support team and forwarded to the development team it was suggested that I post this bug in the forums in hopes that others with the same experience can share their thoughts here. Thank you for your help!

    I am having the same problem as well. All factions, all types of BOFFS.

    Go to your Boff Officer 'Skills' page (not Stations), and reset your defaults, then reset the seat on the ship.

    Leemwatson, I do not see the options you are referring to. These BLANK ability trays are occurring on brand new Bridge Officers slotted on the AWAY TEAM, not on the ship. Are you playing on XB1? How do you reset defaults? Where is the 'skills' page? Please provide details on if you've encountered this issue and step by step instructions on a remedy. Thanks!

    None of those things exist on our Xbox version.

    Oh, my bad! Sorry, head in the wrong version. :lol:

    Try dropping into Sector Space, and switch in a different boff and back. I had to do this to set Traits.

    That sadly didn't work for me. I appreciate all the help you are trying to give us, it's just a wierd problem all in all!

    Same issue. My new officers don't show their abilities. I was able to resolve by selecting the officer to the team and then starting a mission. At that point, the abilities showed up as normal (for that officer) and i could interact with them as normal (train and switch)
