2 Bugs that the New Xbox Series X seems to have fixed

It appears that two annoying bug for console players has been rectified by the new Xbox console (I don't have a PS5 so can't say if it is the same there)

The first is to do with Character Generation. No longer is there a major laggyness to creating a character, the hair pieces appear quickly and you can change tabs smoothly. This is great since on my previous console it could take up to 40 seconds before all the hair appeared on screen (the french weave is still bugged and will Make your character invisible though)

The 2nd has to do with DOFF and Descriptions, now each time you scroll down you get the correct description for the actual DOFF you are on and not the one prior.

Now these "Bug" are probably only solved because of the speed of the new console and therefore probably requires that you have the game stored and running from the internal memory or the high speed seagate expansion card. I suspect that if I plugged my USB 3 5TB drive in and tried running the game from that these bug are likely to occur again, though maybe not quite as bad as the Older Xbox.

I'm posting this as it may help the devs devise a way of speeding up the drawing of the hair and costume tabs on character creation and to point out that those issues almost certainly seem to be related to the speed of the older consoles compared to the new one.

In reality the issues are still there but the much faster speed seems to be able to compensate the issue, at least for now, that may change if the alter the textures or add more to the character generation process.

Does this fix also apply to the same tabs under the station clothing tailors for existing characters?

And here I thought it was just the fact that I still use the original One. I had better start saving for a Series X.

thats unlikely the resolution to the problem...my one x is top of the line, spec edition and its STILL dog butt slow....

The Xbox one is the same as all the other Xbox One's there is no top of the line, unless you had one custom built to your specs. However I am not talking about the Xbox one. I am talking about the Xbox one Series X, the one they just released, On that one, provided you use the internal high speed storage or the Seagate expansion card then the laggy slow Character builder works much faster and loads up those hair styles in less than 10 seconds. On my previous Xbox One it still takes up to a minute before the screen finishes loading.

I'm not really saying this is an ideal fix, but it sure as hell make creating or alter your character a lot easier and faster than the usual lengthy wait times.

The lag is because of their servers....they dont allot enough to console players...

I have both my Xbox consoles running at the same time from the same location. The New Xbox Series X loads up the Tailor Hair and Costumes tabs almost instantly, the older Xbox One X takes up to a minute, it aint the servers. I just tested both at the same time. without a doubt the Xbox series X loads really fast. Getting into the game is also much faster, though nothing can speed up the time it takes for a token and connection to occur. In general I get into the game with character loaded 2.23 mins faster than on the older model.

How about allocating skill points? On my Xbox One, when I do a respec, it takes a good 3 second for EACH skill point to allocate after I make a skill selection. Does this problem also go away with Series X?

Can't say as I haven't had to respect yet. Maybe I'll dig up an older char and give it a go.

I ask because if history is any teacher, even though the respec bug was fixed on PC, when they port over whatever the update was that created the respec bug, it will NOT have the fix applied.
