I know it has already been active a couple of hours but didn't see a thread about it & I'm probably reading it wrong but the zen charge bonus just seems "wonky" to me, at least to me there's no incentive to buy the bigger amounts

think there might be an even better sale come for x-mas,..or New Years?
doubt it, people would complain if they did. sales are rather weak these days since they changed EP. 20% off is the new norm. I guess gone at the days of 30% off. I'll just wait and bank my stipend and wait for the next expansion, drop in do events and go do something else. PSO2 and GI been eating my time, Blue Protocol coming soon for MMORPG fix.
I think that Cryptic is following that routine, I cannot even remember now the last -30% it was probably a flash sale of some sort & those seem very rare anymore too.
I'm following your routine more & more too & playing STO less when only there's an event with a prize worth fetching or something new.
I'll have to look up that Blue Protocol, I usually fiddle around with Elite Dangerous & No Man's Sky for my STO opposition currently.
I appreciate the sale, I am sure there are many in the player base that will take advantage and that's great, but for me personally, there just isn't really anything left in the C-Store that I want and don't already have. Maybe I'll take a look at that Romulan Recon ship.. it's not perfect.. but it's a Romulan ship and those are fairly rare these days.

C-Store has become a bit stagnant. I think it is because Cryptic places more focus on their gambling & if that brings them more money they'll continue. Similar logic to why Cryptic states they don't do as much for the KDF-side versus Federation-side. I do wonder if this year & the last couple of years if more ship releases have happened for gambling versus C-Store bought?
There's definitely going to be a second sale. Its hard to say if it will be better in terms of total discount, but I imagine we'll see a sale for the entire store.
Maybe not better, maybe just different. Fingers crossed the 10 legend bundle goes on sale for PC next week.
That is Steam's issue, not Cryptic's. Log into the Arc Website and buy from there.
1. Arc isn't a company.. it's the name of the launcher.
2. All you have to do is click the "Charge" Link at the top of this page, buy your Zen then launch steam and play. Problem solved.
3. Stop being so melodramatic and use your brain. No one is cheating you out of anything.
You dont need to start STO thru steam, get the standalone launcher... I launch STO by itself, not thru Arc or Steam. I just redeem codes via the website, not thru Arc.
I could be mistaken but the only benefit for logging into STO via Arc is the free Wrath of Khan uniform granted.
oh no I agree lol never buy zen unless there's a bonus & even then not all bonuses are the same especially lately lol
