No more description of ships/things in the C-Store?

I was looking at ships in the C-Store but they no longer seem to show any information about them like number of weapon placements. Did I do something wrong to turn this off? I swear I remember they used to show information like this.

    It varies by ship how and if that kind of information is presented, it seems to just be a dump of the flavor text copy and pasted into the thing. The Shipyard will have most of the need to know stuff in a standard layout, though, baring the Starship trait which you'll have to scroll through the text to find.

    You did nothing wrong. Cryptic has slowly but surely slipped down the slope of paying less & less attention to details. Besides when Cryptic offers no details like that & someone still buys there's no potential missleadings from an incorrect copy & paste too.

    This is a bug (for you). The information is still in the Store for me. I would 'Force Verify' your game files.

    The description is there, it's just a very small window, under the picture. Try expanding the store window some, you'll see it.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    I'm not so sure... Let me know if you see it because I sure don't. If I click on the image it just becomes bigger but at no time is there ever any ship information showing

    I did see it. don't click the image, there's a small window underneath the picture with the description. Try clicking and dragging the store window bigger, you'll see it

    Look at this image I just took. I've pointed at where the description is with a big white arrow. Try making the store window longer by clicking and dragging on the bottom of it.

    I had to make the window go the full length of my monitor and a small portion of the inform section finally showed up. I can not seem to make the picture of the ship any smaller. My monitor is quite big and I am running at 1080p and nothing else has issues like this. I guess I will just have to make due

    Have you tried to adjust the Interface scaling?

    Interface scaling does not really do much with that window at 1080p, it is quite poorly designed. I have the same problem with my system, scaling it down far enough to get more than a few lines of text at once makes the text unreadable even with a magnifier because the screen itself cannot resolve it at that size.

    Because of that I usually look for the ships in the store for the exact name, then alt-tab to the wiki to actually look at the specs.

    If that particular ship is one you're thinking of buying, you might want to hold off for a bit as there seems to be a new variant coming, as photos of the console version showing an extra variant have surfaced, and the Resolute's Bridge Officer layout is not well regarded.

    As a general suggestion, your best bet at this point is going directly to the Ship Vendor and check it from there.
    I know it's not ideal, because you should be able to read everything you need to know directly from the C-Store, but since even that info have been laking (meaning they've been incorrect or impartial) for some time now, the Ship Vendor (or STO Wiki) may offer a better way of acquiring the information you need.

    You might find it better to look the ship up on the wiki and get your information there.

    It turns out that the width of the window determines the proportions, and to get the most text, you actually have to shrink the horizontal dimension to minimum. I'd post a pic, but Imgur seems to be not working ATM.

    Can confirm this.

    When I started playing at the start of the year I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see the stats of the ships which showed in screenshots,and kept trying to make the window bigger.Finally found out that you need to shrink it sideways to see the stats!
