Can't Spend Specialization Points

Ever since the patch my 2-week old main hasn't been able to spend specialization points. I can click on spec abilities to unlock, but the button to assign the point is grayed out. Earning new specialization points does not fix the issue.

    If you look at your skills does it say skills invalid? They updated skills and traits with the recent patches and you will need to respec your skills. You should have a free respec to correct the problem.

    I think I noticed the same thing. I may be wrong. In a sub account, I earned points for the specialization system. I clicked on the little icon in the choice tree, to choose that specification, but the Purchase button stays grey. By mistake, I clicked on the specialization icon twice. A new menu popped up, asking if I wanted to choose it or something like that. And it gave me the option to spend the point. Even though the purchase button remained grey.
