But also, can you imagine what would happen if they announced the "Year of the Federation" and they did this?
Little to nothing because Fed players don't put themselves in a mindset of constant victimization, and thus don't get offended over imagined imbalances between factions.
[/list]
UTTER AND COMPLETE BS. I'm sorry, but the boards would melt down if they spend an entire year with only one feddie bear ship and you know it.

Its easy for people who are privileged to have this sort of reaction, like Som. He definitely doesnt do it on purpose, but when you arent part of a hard situation you cant understand the problem well. Its like living in an Oasis and wondering why the pesky people living in the desert riot over resources. Similar things happen in the real world on matters that are serious so it shouldnt surprise some people having that point of view within a gaming community. I got no quarrel with Som, he got his opinion, I got mine but its good to try to look a situation from all angles and not just a personal one
Because, besides the Nova, theres already T6 versions of pretty much every Fed ship people care about. There's not much for them to be upset about given that they already have access to all the ships they want.
If the Feds already have all the ships they want (not true of course), why not spend some time making Klink and Rom ships?
Devs: "Feds already have all the ships we want, and the Klinks and Roms have been asking for some more ships, so...
let's make a few more Fed only ships that no one asked for."

So long as Cryptic does their normal supply of cross faction ships I don't really see Fed players having a problem with it.
Science Modern Research Vessels(Sutherland/Naj’Sov/Laeosa)
Temporal Warships(Edison/Chargh/Kholhr)
Tier 6 "iconics"(Andromeda/Negh’Tev/D’Khellra)
And these are just normal C-store ships. This isn't even getting into lockbox, R&D, Mudds, or Lifetime, faction equivalent ships.
At this point, for example, the only in-game ships the Romulans lack a T6 version of are
The Dyson Destroyers, something shared by the Feds/KDF.
The Ha'nom, and Ha'feh, which are the Romulan faction equivalents of the Klingon Hoh'Sus BoP, and the Federation Auqarius Light Escort. Specifically in that they are smaller ships, that split off from other ships, made into their own playable ships.
And yeah, they should make those two bundles to clear out the renaming missing T6 ships missing for the Roms and KDF, but beyond that, there's not really ships left to make.
The KDF already got their new ships from Discovery(since we are in Discovery content), and theres like 2 warbirds from Picard for Romulans they need to make(which they probably will once we move into Picard content)
Those were great packs, no one complained about them. Quite to the contrary, people complaining want that again.
Instead this year has brought a massive FED only legendary pack, a FED only promo ship, one cross faction carrier pack, a lone Romulan Legendary ship, another FED only legendary ship, as well as a FED science ship due later in the year that has no known counterparts KDF side, and still no sign of any KDF legendary pack.
Bring on the cross faction packs, please! The first legendary pack should have been cross faction ships, especially if they think they don't get enough $$ from KDF/ROM players.
Forget about any new 9-packs. They would either be 12-packs (four Factions now - not going to happen), 6-packs (KDF, Federation - Romulans/Jem'Hadar would use their Allied Faction Ships), or a 3-pack of Alliance Ships usable by all.
'But to be logical is not to be right', and 'nothing' on God's earth could ever 'make it' right!'
Judge Dan Haywood
'As l speak now, the words are forming in my head.
l don't know.
l really don't know what l'm about to say, except l have a feeling about it.
That l must repeat the words that come without my knowledge.'
The newer packs, but they come rarely, are the 4 packs(1 Fed, 1 Rom, 1 KDF, 1 JH) which are by far the most fair ones since they dont leave people out who play the game out. The problem is instead make those, they went on box ships frenzy plus the odd single fed ships over 2020. There is no need for 9-12 ship packs, just make more 4 packs.
We had 2 x 4 packs(Temporal Destroyers and Support Carriers) so far

And again, besides the Dyson Destroyers, and "separation" ships, mentioned above, theres not any kind of ship to make ship packs on, since they have already made all of the available ships into ship packs.
They can't make packs on ships that don't exist, and when they have already covered all the existing ship types with the packs they have already done.
STO is 10 years old, and Cryptic has mined out most of the canon factional ships, and put them into packs. You really shouldn't expect cross faction ship packs at this point, because theres nothing there to make into cross faction ship packs.
If they can do pairs like the FED/KDF Discovery ships they probably will, but thats the most you are probably going to see cross faction ship wise unless Cryptic figures out the "swarm" player ship stuff they were working on, and we get cross faction swarm player ships.
What are you talking about? Show me the episode a Tucker class ship was first seen onscreen. They regularly make up ships. Nearly half the list you posted is full of STO originals with no canon ships at all in a given pack.
Well its a good thing Cryptic stated, from the beginning, that YoK had nothing to do with ships.
I think at this point, a lack of ships is the least of the KDF's worries, in-universe and out-of-universe.
I mean, what the Klingon faction got so far, excluding some fine revamps (again, give the cutscene animator a raise, they deserve it):
-some revolutionary nutjob (J'Ula) from the past shows up to make a mess and Make Klingons Great Again
-nutjob started causing a divide, then a (shorter than the Confederacy War) Civil War
-then the Chancellor J'mpok decides to Make Klingons Even Greater Again and nuke Khitomer during an important conference, killing a lot of important diplomats
-then you and the top war veteran of the Empire are branded as war criminals and have to team up with the less subtle but more predictable nutjob
-then, you fight the traitorous nutjob's general's lackeys who were the nutjob's previous lackeys
-then, when you bring the truth out, the whole Empire goes "ENOUGH! Fubble all this tribbhit! Scribble you guys, I'm going home!" and is completely shattered
-Chancellor goes all Palpatine and proclaims himself Emperor with no-one raising a finger with the implications of him withdrawing from the Alliance, leaving the Klingons all by themselves in the galaxy just to fuel his ego
Yeah, that's pretty much a nightmarish year to be a Klingon. 2411 is to the Klingons what 2020 is to the US.
What are you talking about? Show me the episode a Tucker class ship was first seen onscreen. They regularly make up ships. Nearly half the list you posted is full of STO originals with no canon ships at all in a given pack.
The Tucker is a Miracle Worker ship, made for the Miracle Worker specialization, which was included in the initial cross faction ship pack for that spec.
And, lo and behold, we have yet to see another 3/4 faction pack for any of those ships types, since they have already done one. Now they just take individual canon ships, and slap the specs on them. In the rare instances there is a canonal faction equivalent, like with the Discovery FED/KDF ships, they will make pairs, but they aren't making up wholly original ships for those specs, in order to create some "faction parity", since they already did so with the initial bundle.
The same is true of command ships, intel ships, flagships, Multi Mission Explorers, and all the other ships in those bundles.
Unless we see a new specialization come around, which is unlikely since the current specs already cover all the major game mechanics, your not going to see them make a new set of ships like that. They are just going to slap currently existing specialization types onto various one off, or two packs.
They can make up ships any time they want. Look at that list you posted.
Advanced Light Cruisers(Reliant/QeHpu/Deleth)
...
Heavy Escort Carriers(Alita/Qa’Tel/Jhu’ael)
...
Science Modern Research Vessels(Sutherland/Naj’Sov/Laeosa)
Obviously the Sutherland/Alita/Reliant are based on a canon design, but none of their Rom/KDF sister ships are.

I don’t understand. During the TNG era, weren’t terrans in bad shape so technically without any uniforms?

I suppose they could have did the TNG mirror uniforms from IDW comics since they have already bundled the exact model of the dreadnaught.
Although the mirror odyssey uniforms come pretty close to them. Only missing the badge and a updated sash that is longer.

Yes. Sometime not too long after TOS the Terran Empire was conquered by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, and turned into slaves.
There was no Terran Empire, only a Terran Rebellion which got kicked started in DS9.
Earth was still fighting and independent according to the graphic novels. They built the galaxy class and mirror picard stole it.
Correct. It hasn't quite fallen completely, only severely weakened. DS9 was cut off from the Empire and the Imperial fleet was crippled and they lost most of their ships. The Terrans had to retreat within their own borders and they are cornered in. The Alliance couldn't penetrate the defences around Earth's solar system and the Terrans are basically surrounded and it's only goal is patrolling and protecting what is left of the Empire. In response Imperial Starfleet starts developing a new type of warship:

My biggest take away from all the mirror universe stuff we've seen is that the empire has apparently lost the technology for sleeves.
But judging from the female outfits it could just be a general lack of cloth hampering the march of the empire across the quadrants.

Then again... it's space barbie. I'd love to see it and that Terran Lord variant. Along with functional daggers. I wish Cryptic would ease off with the countless Darth Maul sabers and instead give us a d'k tahg and Terran dagger as a mission rewards.
