Server Down time (7 October 2020)

Was there supposed to be down time today and you didn't tell us? The severs are down as of this moment.
People ask how long have I been playing STO - well the answer is simple: I have been here since the beginning. I just haven't always had a lot to say.

    There was no downtime announced. I crashed in the middle of a mission and now my launcher shows red, game down.

    ya no downtime was announced there most like fixing something they broke or who know what they want to TRIBBLE up nexted I'm still waiting on them to return 1000 lobi that went missing from my bag

    That's bad. Somewhere else in the forum i read that someone lost 3 chars over night. Either the bugs get bigger or the servers get smaller.

    Maybe Tim Sweeney's Tencent buddies tried to steal all our Data at once and that was way to much for the STO servers to handle. xD

    It would be great if Cryptic would post how long the server will be down on the login page.

    Looks like the servers are down again. This is weird, normally, even if its unplanned there'd be something in the News channel or on the website about this by now

    nothing on twitter, no info anywhere... just returned to the game bc of new T6-X upgrade... and I find it in an even worse state lol

    The servers have crashed twice already today. Im new to playing this game on PC is this a frequent issue? If so im going back to xbox. Ive had more crashes on PC today than i have in past 6 months on xbox

    I am gonna get the daily mission done when it comes back up and hope for the best. Then forget the rest till tomorrow.
    I just noticed it will now be down till 3PM my time today. . . . . . Hopefully I can at least get the event done when it comes back up cause um the rest can wait till tomorrow the event cant :(.

    since midnight after the patch i havent been able to get in. sto been crashing before it even got to the login in page

    it seems like they are fixing the game every single day so for. i was going to get a lifetime scription , but that is not going to happen with them always working on the damn game.
