Dilithium refining mechanic

This dilithium refining cap is aggravating, but its made worse by not resetting it at a fixed time every day like 4am rather than 24hrs after I reached my 8k cap, I don't know what time yesterday I refined 8k, so I have to check the stupid UI every 15 minutes or 30 minutes all day long to see if I can refine another 8k. Dumb mechanic.

    The UI says, you can refine an additional 0 today and that I have already refined my 8k. Hmm well it's almost 1pm and I never refined anything today, that was yesterday.

    I have heard and found out that dilithium refining resets at 8 PM EST, whatever time that is where you are.
