Legendary Ship Bundle (Limited Edition Or Not)

I was looking at this for a very long time while it was being discounted, and on a time frame, I really couldnt decide if to purchase it at all, as it was 19000 zen, even discounted, and I didnt have any zen to buy it, so I left it right until the last couple of hours on the 04/09/20, and decided to buy it, it was limited edition and there fore never to be seen again..... or so I thought.

So I bit the bullet and decided to spend $199.99 plus taxes, almost $250 to buy the zen so that I could buy this limited edition ship bundle, as the counter was running down and being limited edition, I believed it would never be seen again. so I purchased this bundle at the discounted price of 19000, what I bargin I thought for something that would never be seen again, how wrong was I.

04/16/20, I am on my xbox, playing STO, when I noticed that there was a Zen sale, and then noticed that everything in the store was discounted..... Aweome!!! i thought so once again purchased more zen, I was a little upset at this point due to the timing of the zen sale, but what really upset me was that going through the store, I noticed that the "Legendary Ship Bundle" was back and once again on sale, so you can imagine my anger and discust when I not only seen that the zen was now at 149.99, but also the Legendary Ship Bundle was back, how can something that is Limited Edition, and be on a count down timer be back when on the 04/10/20 it was removed from the Zen Store.

I feel that I have not only lost money but, feel decieved, and discusted that what is supposed to be limited edition, was taken down and then brought back with once again its own discount, but with the added discounted on purchasing Zen.

REALLY DISGUSTED WITH WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THIS CASE!!!!!!!!.

Please enter you comments or experiences similar to this, as this has to stop, as I am sure this has not only happened to me, but others as well.

    My understanding was that removal of the bundle was in error and should have been up until April 20.

    If I were to guess, the April 9th date was because someone copy-pasted the end date from PC (March 9th) rather than looking at how long it should have run.

    That said, yeah, the ZEN sale coming *after* the mistake is not a good look. Put in a ticket saying you bought the pack a week ago as it was being removed and, had you known the end date was extended, you would have certainly saved some money buying it.

    The Bundle never left the store on Xbox. It's been there everyday since it launched. The sale price it launched at, however, ended a week or so ago. There was two countdowns, one for the original sale, and one for the pack availability.

    They did exactly the same on the PC.

    Now that I have the money, can they bring the PC offer back. I completely missed it.

    That makes sense. I had seen someone else saying the bundle was removed, though. Maybe they were just talking about the sale price, but it seemed like they were saying the whole thing was removed by mistake and then returned.

    Cryptic has habit of reselling even exclusive promotional items. I never expected the Legendary bundle or the individual ships in it to never return on sale. They didn't build ship models to sell only once after all.​​

    Limited time, not limited edition.

    There is nothing anywhere saying that the bundle will never return. What was said was that it would only be available for a short time and then would go away. NOT "go away forever" just go away.

    When there is an R&D Promo event for a new ship it is there and then it goes away. Then it comes back. Then it goes away ....

    At the bare minimum this pack will be made available on annual Anniversary days. Not sure how anyone concluded the pack will only ever be offered once. I son't remember any announcement establishing this.

    Great pack for new, emerging and dormant players however.

    You purchased an item for a price you found acceptable. The fact that the product is available again shouldn't change the value to you. Either the items you purchased were worth the price you agreed to pay for them or not. Don't pay prices for items that aren't acceptable to you, just because timer is in-play. If the items received are as advertised, You don't really have a valid complaint. Limited time isn't limited edition and no promise of rarity was made in the offer.
