How do I battle the Tholian on Nukara?

So the endeavor system states I need to destroy Tholian ships on their homeworld. What missions or zones do I need to go to complete this goal?

    The endeavor may be unclear on this but, it actually means to defeat Tholians on Nukara. The ground Tholians not their ships. You should bring an environmental suit.

    Just a clear up another matter as well, if you get "kill tholian captains on Nukara" skip it, it's literally impossible to complete as there's no captains on Nukara outside of the Nukara based TFOs and those don't count.

    Not to get even further off the subject, but this is completely untrue. In fact, if you look at the "In Progress" mission log, it will tell you exactly where to go to find a Tholian captain: in the Transdimensional Tactics TFO, and it does count.

    I believe there may have been issues with this the very first time it popped up as a Universal Endeavor but it's been fine every time since then and has been working properly for several years now.

    It can sometimes be tricky to get the boss to count, especially on a normal level. He often goes down so fast that if you're not right on top, you may not hit the threshold to count

    If you get an Endeavor to Kill Tholian Ships and the Blue Moon Tholian Red Alert is not up, go to the Archer System at the extreme East edge of the Beta Quadrant almost in line with New Romulus.

    i forgot about that. i just run Sinrise and stormbound. plenty of tholian ships in those missions

    Archer system spawns so many that you can get the hard Tholian ship Endeavor before you finish clearing the system.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    They fixed it then, it used to be that those TFOs didn't count, nice to know.

    Generally i Do
    Azure nebula STFO for the ships
    Transdim quest for the captain. You can actually go to the cave on Nukara prime and it starts the TFO
    Even god rested. No work ethic.

    Shoot them - sonic, kinetic and cold damage weapons are your friends (as is a good eva suit) but at this point any decent gun can off a tholian with little issue

    Part of it is needing to get kill credit, and that requires shooting the boss Tholian. If you just shoot his lackeys and let the team shoot the Project Leader? no kill credit for you.
