Unable to use Training Manuals (Engineering) to train Engineering Bridge Officer

Cryptic, I am having a bad day!

I am unable to train my new bridge officer in engineering abilities with the training manual. Yes, I have promoted the BOFF and yes the training manuals are correct. But for some reason I can't train her.

Please fix. It's not enough that someone false flagged reported me and got me banned from chat for kicks but now I have this issue with Boffs not learning new skils. I'm quite literally considering uninstalling this game.

    I'm having the same issue. Only it's been a week now. I've logged out and back in. Changed toons. I even logged in to my son's account and then back in to mine. All to no avail. HELP!
