"Hero" ship materials unlock for more ships

Could we (or at least those who bought the bundle) get the Hero ship Materials (esp. Intrepid, Galaxy, Defiant, Sovereign but also NX and DSC Connie) available for more ships? I could imagine Ships like Akira, Ambassador or Prometheus looking great with thoke materials. Or the Intepid for the Vesta. and the Connie would add something to TOS ships

Yes, that would be a nice bonus for bundle owners. There's no reason to let non-owners have this.
Except that non owners do have access to those skins if they own the non bundle versions of those ships. I can put my MW Disco Connie in a Sovy skin. Don't like the look of it, but I can.
Only ships related to the ones in the bundle have access to those skins.

I actually really like all three connies with the Sovereign materials (bundle includes a darker refit version), imo the yellow deflector does a good job of updating the classic golden deflector appearance to not look so dated.

I thought they were unlocked for the Galaxy X. I hadn't checked myself though.
I wouldn't mind it as much with the TMP refit hull. Something about seeing the whole satellite dish glowing just... it feels more like a neon sign than a practical ship component. Some of those materials make the dish look like a neon blob in the shape of a deflector. Looks great from the front as its more like the TMP deflector, but from the side and back... the ENTIRE thing glows and... it just doesn't look right to me. I might like the Sovy material more if they didn't continue the glowing orange bits on the back of the deflector dish as well.
Edit: Ok Disco Connie doesn't suffer from that anymore... the details are just on the front of the dish now. I wonder if that was the minor tweak they did to her in the patch?
Same is true for Temporal Light Cruiser. So... um... eh... hehe... gripe invalid now.

Lol, when I was at work I didn't see this edit, just the initial post, and I just spent time putting together a picture to show that what I thought you were talking about didn't appear to be the case anymore. I'm gonna link it anyway just cause I think all three ships are beautiful with that material:
Just as an info:
I think Cryptic already posted a comment about this somewhere (Twitter?). The gist is that the new materials are more complex in terms of mapping etc.
They are not compatible to the old materials. Hence every starships that wants support needs reworked mapping etc.
They posted that to clarify why they haven't rolled out new materials to more ships but the ones covered by the bundle.
Cryptic reworked those ships at the time for the bundle and therefore those ships got the new materials.
The post left it open whether they would update other ships as well.
