doff's not auto assigning to missions

Normally when I start a doff assignment, the doffs are automatically assigned. I just logged onto this character and it is not happening.
example: "dilithium mining in an unstable asteroid cluster" (which i do on a regular basis) i click plan and ALL of the doff slots are empty,
so i click on "select" and there are NO explosive experts on the list, even tho I have 6 of them UNASSIGNED, all of the other assignments
are the same.
This is only happening on two of my characters, all of the others are working normally.

You will find it in the "Duty Officer" window, "Department Heads" menu, above "First Officer".
Just think of the DOFFs getting filled in those assignments as if it is your BOFFs (acting as Department Heads) recommending them to you.

Actually the box was unchecked. Once I checked the box all went back to normal TKS!!!
