Delta Flight: Clear and Present Danger bug

After flying through the 32 checkpoints and encountering (and destroying) the patrol ships, there's NPC chatter about boarding parties, but the mission does not progress. It says "Defeat Herald Patrol" but I've done that and nothing is happening. Anyone else encounter this? What should I do to be able to continue?

    Ah! Figured it out. My NPC teammates destroyed the patrol ships before I even got there, so I'm assuming the mission didn't register that I'd done it. Once I beat them to the ships and took them out with their help the mission progressed normally.
