I understand that Cryptic wants to "honor" the characters of actors who passed away this year. But why are the two taking up space inside of Quark's bar? The place is cramped as it is, and now the two of them are stuffed into a small area. And as he was a FORMER security chief, one would think that he'd have enough situational awareness to not stand in a traffic path such as that. Why isn't he either in the Gamma Quadrant working with the other Founders, or (obscene comments moderated out. - BMR)?
Right now, he and Nog(Nog's more suited to linger around where he and Jake Sisko spent time, if not doing stuff with his own command) are both eyesores inside the bar. What's next? Filling out Quark's bar with all the actors/actresses when they pass on? Crowding out any players that want to use the place as a social hub?
I get that the characters haven't been snuffed out yet, but unless Cryptic plans on using them as recurring characters post ViL, why not send them off on assignments or something at a certain point? Have them being in areas of space that can be visited like the USS Sally Ride. They've already got their representation in the episodes and/or TFOs.
In my opinion, this has all been handled poorly by whoever implemented this. I am...displeased, to put it as lightly, so that I don't end up getting taken to the gulag. But there was opportunity to give the two characters an uplifting send-off without killing them off, to let them go off on some stellar travel, like how the Fast and the Furious franchise gave Paul Walker his.

Also, Cryptic had enough time to shoehorn the two into a small bar, and come up with a shiny new memorial, but not add Sid Haig's name to the list? It's been OVER three months. Is Sid Haig not worth a space on the memorial, despite being in a TOS episode? I wonder what the excuses will be this time, if not pure silence and ducking the question.

besides, in-universe, they are still quite alive, it's like smashing every Elvis record once he died... it's a simple reminder of two great actors that passed away..

I think the OP does care about the actors in question, but this 'care' comes across quite grossly in the post.
Considering the family of Rene Aubiginos have just lost someone close to them, you would think the OP would count their blessings that something so tragic has not occurred for themselves so close to the holidays.
Just a suggestion....
