So what free T6 ship should folks get with their T6 token if you already have a number of ship packs and all the standalone T6 ships. I picked up the Europa last time, since that was the only standalone T6 ship I did not have.
Problem is that with T6 free tokens... if you buy a ship from a pack... that pack is not discounted if you decide to buy the rest of the ship pack... your paying full price for just 2 ships.
With the new rules in place... I guess I can just buy a Rom ship and have Fed/KDF both use for ship trait.
3 ship Cross Faction bundles I am missing... best ship trait from the following...
Advanced Light Cruiser - Evasion Sepcialist
Allied Escort - Hit and Run
Cruiser - Explosive Polarity Shift
Dreadnought - Subsystem Redundancies
Flight-Deck Assault Cruiser - Majority - Minority
Strike Wing Escort - Coordinated Assault

I think I only have this one out of your list, and it's pretty useless in my experience and doesn't not hold up at all nowadays. The D'Khellra/T6 D'Deridex that this is from I would only recommend getting if you really want the looks of the TNG Warbird due to it's extremely poor turnrate (to the point it's not exactly snappy, though functional at least, with Competitive Wargames Engines) and the odd BOff layout.
Flight-deck Carrier ships I have some experience with from buying the Fleet Orion one using the modules from Tier 6 reps, and it's pretty nice like seriousdave said, at least after getting buffed to having dual hangars. The pets have been raved about quite a bit, and seem decent so far even though I only have the lower end EC/included ones (I've not seen parses of them, but usually well-liked ones tend to have solid DPS). About the only thing to note is that the Suliban version looses some hull HP for it's Battle Cloak.
Yep, "none of the above" if buying just for the trait.
About the only thing that might grab my interest down the line is Picard ships, but given that the Buran and Qoj are still in the 'New' tab (excluded from purchase with the last token), they'd probably run another Event before those any of those not-yet-released ships would fall off the list.
Overall I'd echo the idea to just wait. If you don't see a trait you want or imagine using in a build, don't just buy something you don't even know if you'd use.

Last time i went for the Intel Assault Cruiser with Specialist Knowledge

Good trait, but for my play style lousy ship.
I know it probably won't happen, but it would be nice.
wont happen... 3 pack has 3 ships... you would need to use 3 tokens. Just pick up the Rom ship and all factions can fly it to get ship trait.
And a sense of regret that the following are either not available in game, as T6s, or in the C-Store:
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

None are really great. Coordinated Assault might be interesting if you are going to fly more Carriers in the future. I know some people are still using Reverse Shield Polarity (I never liked it, but that might just be me being irrational), so Explosive Polarity Shift could be neat. Maybe Majority/Minority?
I think from these, pick the one that you like the looks and play style best. Advanced Light Cruiser or Strike Wring Escort for me then, probably.
I have a build focused on RSP, Explosive polarity shift and such. it's a bit dated, but fun. Based upon this ship https://sto.gamepedia.com/APU_Cruiser
Since the competitive engines it's all about speed, but at one time it was about finding a spot with enemies and park there to fire/watch stuff explode.
I already own the Negh'tev(Explosive Polarity Shift trait battlecruiser), and I fly the ship occasionally.
i have all most everything else...
When I get to that point, I look for a ship that unlocks cosmetics for something I already have.
Last time i considered the Negh'Tev (sp?) just to fill out my kdf ranks, but i went with the Intel assault instead.
The disco raiders and Europa i got from the $10 pink charity event so those are off the table.
I'll look at the TOS and JH designs if there are any traits/consoles i might use. Otherwise it'll be the Sommerville if it is available when the 3rd event finishes. Unless off course a Tier 6 Nova comes along.
Maybe, though i tend to leave space barbie for ships alone, since i don't really have an eye or taste for ship kit bashing, in fact i find most ships to be ugly or bulbous and tend to like more angles and lines then circles and orbs.
But yeah i guess you're right I should probably go for fashion or wait till they release a new zen ship.
That said, had the option for Fed captains to use Rommie ships been around when I got my token, I may well have made a different choice. I've since bought the Faeht, which I absolutely love, and I'm currently thinking that this token will be used on the Morrigu when I earn it.
