The Orion Marauder has changed ship class 3 times

First it was a basic Cruiser with a feature to summon interceptors, then it was given a hangar bay and new pets and made into a Flight Deck Cruiser a new class, then later it was given two cruiser commands, and now finally its a THIRD class, a Fligh Deck Carrier. No other single ship has changed classes 3 times, there are multiple versions of the Constitution that belong to different classes of ship, but they are all functionally different ships, remakes with different twists.

I find it funny. Its uniqus that way.

    It's interesting that it has such a unique history in STO, upgraded so many times.

    On another note Orion Blackguard/Fleet Orion Blackguard will become a very good ship. Was already more agile than other flight-decks and now will have 2 hangars

    It has equal turn rate to the Daciot FDC, but of course is way more powerful and way tougher as the Daciot is just T3.

    I love the Blackguard, super flexible, tough, agile, and so on. And its console is super fun and great for fighting tougher enemies like Borg cubes/Unimatrixes or Voth Cruisers. I have the Cardassian Intel Set and Guardian Drones and Gorn Repair Platform on mine, so its kind of carrier like already.

    Still its going to be great to be able to unleash my Elite Orion Interceptors and Elite Orion Cutpurse Fighters from my Fleet Blackguard Carrier.

    And the Blackguard doesn't step on the toes of my T5U Fleet Retrofit Corsair which I also love, because one is focused more on Command Powers and Tactical Options, and the other is very Sci heavy instead.

    I would love a Bridge! I hate that it looks so Klingon inside, although the Carrier Bridge I use on it isn't so bad.
