I can't login

Every time I log in, the client can't remember my login PW. I get the message "Unable to authenticate: Couldn't initialize token login". Once I manually put in my password, it loads the patch screen. When I hit "Engage", I get the message "Unable to start game client: The system cannot find the file specified."

    I am also having some issues with logging in right now. I am getting a similar error; Unable to authenticate, connection to login server lost. Support team is there any known issues and or work arounds that you know about ? Thank you

    Same here. Got booted out and can't log back in.

    2 days and I still cannot login. As a lifetime subsubscriber, this is completely unacceptable.

    Edit. I logged into the forums then manually reentered my info in the launcher seems to work now

    same for me "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" was in game when this happened. cant get back in.

    I was about to post that I have the same error with some interesting things I found in the log, but a funny thing happened. When I logged in to the browser to post to the forum, I got a prompt for a new device, handled the code, and had a gut feeling to try the launcher again, so I did, and it let me in.

    Perhaps that can help someone, perhaps not, as obviously one needs to log in to post to the forum. I just found to be the strangest coincidence that right after doing that, I could get in to the game. But, since it went through the whole "new device" logic, perhaps logging and and back in through the website might fix things? Just supposition here.

    Same issue. Tried the above, no joy. Uninstalled/reinstalled...same. Any chance of getting an official response on this? It's obviously not just me.

    I too had the same issue. I think a squirrel must have chewed through the server's connection again. ;)

    Ok, for anyone having this issue I fixed it previously by uninstalling Arc and all associated games and then reinstalling. Once the game and launcher patched a few times, it started again. First on Neverwinter, now again on STO. Not sure what kind of special sauce you are putting in the patches, but it is causing issues.
