Omega Slivers

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to do the R&D mission to combine the Omega Slivers to make Omega Shards, it keeps saying that it Failed to start the mission. I have reported it twice now in-game and so far nothing has been done about it. It started when the Omega Event finished. I'm sick of having this happen and not being able to do anything on any of my alts. What gives?

    I had this problem pop up suddenly, a few months ago on several characters. I thought there was a new problem after a patch. Apparently the problem has been around for a while. There is an issue with traces in smaller stacks than needed for the selected task. If you needed 15 slivers, and you have a stack of 999 and one of 12, it will give you the weird error message. Try moving some around to different-sized stacks as a workaround to overcome this, as it worked for me. Hopefully that helps until they fix it.
