This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
This is the first time that I've seen the Phoenix Boxes, and from what I've been able to find about the Very Rare and lower prizes, the Crystalline Absorption Matrix console and the Automated Defense Turret console are very useful prizes from the Rare category.
After looking through the Very Rare prizes, I think I'm better off trading the Very Rare prize for two Rare prizes and picking up both of these otherwise-unavailable and useful consoles!
Very disappointing that after dropping probably 500k dilithium into these boxes i didnt get a single ultra rare or epic token. Was only after the lukari science ship from those, and no dice.
However, there are several good rewards from rare and very rare tokens. I picked up all of the duty officers and admiralty cards for most of my characters, and 5 of the sompek assaults for my lukari character and her away team for some lightning spam shenanigans. Also got the crystalline console to try out as a survival mechanism.
500k dil is only like 125 phoenix packs. No surprise that you didn't get a UR or Epic token. I've opened so many I can't even remember. Literally thousands.
I'll say what I've said all along. I have every single event ship on an account unlock. I also have the T6 and T5 bugship from way back in the day and I used one of my UR tokens on the Voth Bulwark. Overall, I've won 4 epic and 8 UR tokens over the years and they're just collecting dust in my inventory.
We should be able to sell the ships that come from these boxes. I literally can't do anything useful with them and other players want them. I also will always need to upgrade things so I will keep opening phoenix packs and any UR or epic tokens that I happen to win are a complete waste.
They're literally just sitting in my inventory waiting for one of two things to happen. One, I get hospitalized and can't play the game because I'm in a coma and I miss out on an event ship. Or two, they finally make the ships from the UR and epic tokens unbound so that they can be traded.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Too bad there's not an up-grind (?) option for the tickets. Even if it was a horrible conversion of 10:1 at least you could buy a bunch of boxes and be assured to get your epic ticket even if you had to trade up 10,000 uncommon tickets to get 1 epic; or something like that. The 'bad luck insurance' type of system. Its not like the Epic ships are account wide that the Epic tickets need to be so freaking low percentage!
IMO, Cryptic should have just stuck past event ships in the C-Store for $15-$20 a year after the event and not bothered with a whole new system of RNG to frustrate players with.
The only thing I was lacking of what I wanted out of them, is the Risian corvette on one character. With the T6 versions coming this Lohlunat, I don't have to care about that now.
If all your gear on ever character is already Epic MKV, you probably don't need to bother.
Otherwise, you can throw most of your Dilithium safely into Phoenix boxes. (Minus anything you need for Fleet Gear, Rep Gear or Dil/Zen conversions)
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

It's not. I've only done it for 1 character. I have excess vouchers sitting in my account bank, if I chose to work on something.
Other than that, I was only after the Risian Luxury Liner and Corvette. I got the Luxury Liner last year. Was saving up dil for the next Phoenix, to aim for the Corvette. That's been taken care of with the Lohlunat announcement. So, I can aim my dil toward solo leveling my fleet again.

With the nature of this game.. things change constantly. Because of this, I pretty much always need an Upgrade Weekend.
I have a bank full of Epic Gear that's either been replace by a shift in the meta or 'balanced' into uselessness.

The tech upgrades are a better deal (less dil, no credits cost) than Superior tech upgrades, so stock up now for the next upgrade weekend.
Having a lot of fun with it.

I do the daily.
Ignore them the rest of the time.
