Another Discovery Sensor Linked Weapons Visuals Post

With all due respect, my original post about the downgraded and glitche Sensor Linked Phasers/disruptors since the Age of Discovery Launch was shut down/closed arbitrarily yesterday. The post had almost five thousand views and people were regularly engaging in it.
The Animation of the Sensor Linked weapons was PERFECT last year when Discovery content began getting introduced in game.
But when Age of Discovery was launched the Sensor linked weapons were graphically changed tremendously. Sure they added explosion FX for the weapons impacts but the bolts look dull now, not shiny, they move slowly and compress or elongate depending on if the enemy is coming at you or flying away.
Normally these kinds of things are trivial but one of the things I liked about Discovery were the Phaser FX.
I was shocked when Star Trek Online got these phaser FX almost perfectly screen accurate and so I dumped a lot of resources to upgrade my discovery phasers to epic and I began using them primarily.
So when the Age of Discovery downgraded the appearance of my weapons I felt cheated. They are so bad that they break immersion.
I am not the only one who has noticed this and reported it. I don't appreciate having a living thread closed. A thread which has no breach of rules and frankly everyone on the thread agreed with my points- which must be a first on these forums in history. Never have I seen a thread where everyone was in agreement on one thing.
I am not sure why the Dev's have not responded to this issue. STO is a business and it relies on the dedicated player base/customers to help it be it's best. Not only do I spend a fortune on this game- as I am a space whale, but I really love and care about the game. My criticism comes from a good place not a snooty one.
Can someone please address this issue?
