Missed Events/Missed Out on Ships

I was unable to participate during the event when the Bajoran Interceptor (T6) was given away during an event. Players who are unable to do events for various reasons or new players in general have NO current way of getting this ship. While many would hold the phrase "tough luck" as a motto of the game: will there ever be a chance to get this ship again for those who missed out on it? I have read in various places that this ship will eventually be a Phoenix ship; but, shutter to think a ship that was available to be unlocked account wide will be relegated to a single character. Can anyone shed some light on this or does Cryptic ever give you the chance to get things that were missed? Also.... Will the "Agents of Yesterday" or "Delta Recruit" be happening again anytime soon? Please advise.

As for the recruitment events, they've repeated Delta Recruits once, so the precedent has been set for repeating those events. I wouldn't be surprised to see them all repeated at some point.

Look forward to the day when Cryptic start focusing on their own stories rather than latching on to canon too much, there are plenty of game characters that have gone on ignored for years now. Same can be said of something nice for the summer event.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

You can only finish previous event ships if you had them slotted but not finished during that year. If you did not slot them then, there is no way to do it this year.
You had the event listed already since you started it previously. If you did not have it listed you simply could not access it.

It does takes time for them to update it but eventually will come around. It is not account wide but heck at least it is available and should be really grateful for that chance not offered in other places.

This is not 100% true. Prior to the summer event of 2015 you could slot previous event ships when that event rolled around again. You either had to choose which ship you would work on or run them on multiple toons. I remember being excited that I would be able to slot the Risian corvette and cruise ships on alts since I was not playing the game at the time those were released. Unfortunately, they announced two weeks before the 2016 summer event that past event ships would now be "exclusive" to the particular year's events by introducing specific year vouchers.
Now, I get why they made the vouchers year specific because they were tired of people saving up enough vouchers from previous events to get the current year's ship on day one. I mean, god forbid players pay with their time! If they want the ship early they are going to pay with their wallet!
However, the exclusivity bull-TRIBBLE is just that: Bull-TRIBBLE...
As long as someone puts in the time to run the event or spends the $'s to buy the ship I could care less if you get the Vulcan recon ship this year or next year, and unless your self worth is wrapped up in the amount of "exclusive" content you have over another player then I am sure you agree with me. And if that does determine your self-worth you might need to speak to someone.
I totally support opening all "exclusive" content during each year's replay of those events and maybe annual short replays (on the anniversary of their release) for ships like the Dyson, Odyssey, and Obelisks. You could even expand this to replays of events where consoles or weapons were offered as account unlocks. Why not every time the crystalline catastrophe rolls around cant we slot past crystalline event rewards?
If the chance to get ultra rare and epic tokens from the Phoenix boxes was better (and it made the ships account unlocked like the original) then maybe I wouldn't feel this way. I know I have dropped a lot of dil on Phoenix upgrades since the Phoenix box first began back in 2016 and have yet to get anything better than a rare token. Granted, I only spend the dil when I need upgrades, but I have still probably opened at least 500+ Phoenix boxes.
I have never understood why there wasn't a trade up option included in the phoenix store any way... Save up 100 of the previous level and get a token one level higher or some other number, but a way to KNOW you are making progress to the item you want would be better than what we have now. There is no reason to withhold these ships from new players!
I am just glad I started playing before they started dropping T6 ships that include 1 of a 4 console set during events so I didn't miss any of those. I would be really irritated if I bought say the multi-mission set and then realized I couldn't complete the console set because I wasn't playing in January of 2017, or had to spend 1,000's of dil for a very slight chance to get it from an event that only rolls around every few months. Oh, not to mention as a new player I'm also pretty dil strapped while I am trying to gear my ship with reputation gear and good weapons, but the bright side while trying to get that ship for the console I am going to receive a LOT of upgrades so I won't have to pay dil for those...
Exclusivity is a ridiculous reason to keep new players from getting something that was new YEARS ago and is no way a game breaking ship, console, weapon, etc...
*** NEWS FLASH *** Exclusivity ONLY hurts new players who you should be doing everything in your power to retain... Until game developers realize this they will continue to push new players away as their games move into their "senior" years.
At least that's my 2 EC.
Actually, if they were saving up extra vouchers for the next year, they were still paying with their time by continuing to do the grind for the extra vouchers in order to be able to get the next year's ship close to, or on, day one.
The vouchers weren't magically appearing in their inventories.
