I have noticed some ships can be completed in the game, for example the Voyager class has a bridge interior, so does the Galaxy class, and the defiant class making these ships complete.
I think it would great if we could have more bridge interior models, the wrath of khan bridge interior, the star trek undiscovered country interior which is just an a more advanced looking interior of the wrath of khan bridge, the Sulu excelsior interior, the kelvin time line bridge interiors, and last of all the official sovereign bridge interior.
the advanced undiscovered country interior and the Sulu excelsior bridge could be used on many types of starships seamlessly, So if you have a ship but want a generic type bridge you could use those and not feel like it's a specific bridge to a specific ship.
Speaking of bridges would also be cool to be able to call you're crew to the briefing room where they come in and sit down and face the captain, also the ready room chairs could work this way too if the captain could have a new menu to call his crew to assemble.
why? because the these spaces are only accessible by the captain right now, and it would be nice to have that role play ability.
another thing would be cool, is to have ship interior missions, for example the borg are taking over the ship and you have to fight your way from the bridge down to engineering, while your crew are being assimilated causing more spawns and more difficulty as you move through the ship.
and have the ability to choose what your crew is wearing on the ship, the npc's that walk around the ship.
I would also suggest being able to pilot the ship from the captains chair through sector space a new menu for that.
New interiors and piloting from the bridge have both been brought up many times before.
If I remember, the bridge is not actually you flying around in space, it's a totally separate map, so flying from there is impossible.
It is. The bridge/interior of you ship is actually on social zone. They have a cap of 20 people.
Flying form the bridge has been brought up, and subsequently shot down, due to the amount of coding it would cause, along with other general problems, such as field of view and UI. The other main reason is, how it's setup. The model you see on the ground is your Captain. The ship you see in space, is your captain. You're ship is technically more of a spacesuit for you captain. But really is two different character models. One for ground, and one for space.
this is my second post on this forum and you are correct I should have given it a more correct title, as for being shot down, my last post had a title defining it correctly as to why it was shot down might be to the nasty sarcastic remarks made by the moderator?
which if it continues I have no problem reporting it to ARC and cryptic with a copy of the moderators nasty attitude.
I do believe the people who hired you expect you to provide good customer service and respect.
If i am mistaken then pardon me, however I am inclined to believe you are the moderator based on you're reponce here, and it;s not an approach I would have taken in you're position, I would have said it in a nice customer friendly way, being it's my first error ever made on this forum.
It's not my wish to cause trouble here or have my post closed, But I do not feel it's customer friendly to make scathing remarks to forum member's as your opening responce, however I do appreciate that you notified me here of the error and I quickly corrected it to be in compliance with forum conduct.
Seriously, calling out mods 'for being nasty' is a bad idea. It is their job to keep topics on point and respectful of the community. If a mod moderates you, they had a good reason to and they explain why. Whilst on occasion they make remarks, I've never seen one be 'nasty'.
Moderators also have a 'title' that's viewable to everyone.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
my mistake then. I made an assumption that was incorrect then, but whoever that was that was pretty rude.
I understand the map conflict makes sense, but i still don't see why a new menue would not make that work to call up the map and just point and click, but it's probably redundant when you can just fly the ship in sector space.
I will edit the post and remove the objections then I stand corrected.
I understand it's their job, but saying things like your post got shot down and calling me down for incorrect title gave the impression of moderator authority, now not knowing you and the perception of it as an authority comment it was not hard to leap to the conclusion I made.
However I will not be so quick to make that mistake again, now that I know some members come off a bit crass when they want too.

Why mmo rpg games create so much ego among it's player base, it's just a game, no really it's just a game, and you may love it as much as I do, but I think it would be a lot more fun without all the drama.
They're only trying to help. I would suggest reading over the FCT thread stickied towards the top of General Discussion. It lists a number of topics that have already been answered by the devs, and therefore those threads are generally closed to alleviate arguing over things that have already been settled. Unfortunately, the topic of ship interiors is listed there as well. I sympathize, as ship interiors are something that I would love to see improved in-game as well. /Thread

I'm not sure, but it might even be in the F.C.T.
Anyway, they haven't done interiors in a long time, and likely won't.
why? because the these spaces are only accessible by the captain right now, and it would be nice to have that role play ability.

Post removed, I stand corrected, thank you to the members here who set me straight.

I am no mod, nor is Azrael. The two mods for this part of the forum are Baddmoonrizen and Darkblade. They're the ones to contact if you need them.

I clarified that there and here and told him who the moderators are.
