Sigil 47 can't race

Sigil 47 can't race
[System] [TicketCreated] Successfully submitted ticket ID #4,800,095.
[System] [TicketCreated] Successfully submitted ticket ID #4,800,097.
I got the "Fastest Game on Ice" mission on Sigil 47, my KDF Engineer.
Switch to alts to help get gear & mats for crafting.
Switched back to Sigil 47 to race.
The prompt to 'Signal Race Official' does not come up when I approach the Race Official.
I have tried changing maps.
I have exited the game, came back later, and no change.
I had my character leave QWW & come back; no effect.
The mission is not appearing in my Mission Journal, despite multiple interactions w/the Race Coordinator 20-x-hrs counter for the mission having been accepted/started.

I am hopeful that the patch might fix this.

    Did you try to speak to the Breen who gives you the mission (not the official)

    yes that would be the "Race Coordinator" I mentioned.
    I am about to patch and see if the mission reset or dropped.

    Mission was dropped apparently.
    I took it and did my daily.
