I'm not happy with the mechanic used as a method of ending races, as I'm sure many of you are too by now. How many races have you been in, where you have passed the finish line in 1st place, only to slide by the flag either by Ice or inertia and have the next player behind you grab the flag? Even though they didn't earn it? Today in Q's fantastic winter wonderland, I came second in a race, my KDF toon slid by the flag, he was way ahead of the player behind, but, decided to slide on the spot until the next player grabbed the flag and ignored my message of: "thanks a lot"
This is fundamentally wrong, when you earn a place in a race, YOU'VE earned it and no one should be able to just steal it from you, very unsportsmanlike. Please could you change it to either a proper finish line finish, or some kind of feature that only lets you grab the position flag you've earned, or perhaps, it could pop up as a dialogue option at the end to claim your prize? Please consider this as so many others loose out to this skulduggery . Thanks guys.

You are absolutely right. and in those particular races, you earn your place by ... wait for it ... grabbing the flag ! ! !
Anyone with deep pockets can buy their way into being faster than other players, no skill required other than knowing how to use a credit card. Too bad those races are designed so that a bit of skill is actually required. It only takes a few times to figure out exactly where you need to jump or roll to come to a dead stop right on top of the flag.
Doesn't the race description specifically state that you have to get around the course and grab the flag to win ? And sure enough, you actually have to get around the course and grab the flag, just like the race rules state. Sorry, if you don't want to have to grab a flag to win a race, don't participate in race that requires you to grab a flag.
Accuracy counts.

On point as well. When on a race, you're close to the finish and you're sprinting all wheels-blazing. This flag thing is almost as stupid as it sounds. It's counterproductive and it beats the main purpose of the feature.
On each race, you need to CROSS A LINE, not grab a freaking flag. The line is way less coding than adding a flag. (Now is the moment where you should hold your opinions to your own).
Let's face facts, some changes are amazing and some changes are simply... less amazing.
